I like the image quality of the Blackmagic Pocket 4K. But I prefer the Gh5 IBIS and EVF, focus peaking as its massively helpful.

BMPCC 4K need to be compared to GH5S. Not against GH5.

I am not an expert because I just like to shoot. I'd like to ask some questions please, hoping someone experienced will answer me.
1) I only make documentaries in remote areas, around the world. 2) I always travel alone. 3) I like to shoot in 4K 50p 10bit. 4) I would like to get the same or slightly better video quality than the GH5.
5) I would like a camera that is easy to use.
Which camera do you think is the best for me? I could also accept a small camcorder, but only if it has excellent image quality. I THANK YOU for your suggestions.
Gh5 will be easier, longer lasting battery, less rigging and weather sealed. The Pocket only offers better image quality.
in one video sb said the gh5 is like a vlogging camera and the gh5s(which is also more like the bmcc4k) is for serious shooting

I hate to be the only one saying this but the Blackmagic seems too much trouble for a marginally better image quality, especially in a controlled environment. If you are mainly interested in fiction, which means you control the lights and should never be under exposed, I'm not sure the dual ISO of the BM is justified? The practicality of the GH5, the IBIS, the two card slots and the fact that if you shoot in the dynamic range in which the cam is suposed to be at its best, it beats the BM any time. If you get it right in the cam, as opposed to the fools who think they'll fix it in post, the extra lattitude give by BRAW is negligeable, marginal.
The image isn't marginall better. It's far better.
I find this test useless, because I'm buying a 4k camera to shoot uncompressed RAW.
The only way the Gh5 can compare, is with the BMPCC 4k compressed video.
It may be better, but considering Blackmagic Technical Support is one of the worst I’ve ever seen (they refuse to even offer support to me), I would go with Panasonic GH5 any day of the year. Not to mention you can record on SD cards with H.265 and record for long durations and much smaller file sizes.
a house of GH5 one can get for 750 euro now but a black magic pocket is 1600 euro.. I am not sure if the huge jump in cost is worth it ?! is it?

IT´s the marketing messing with your brain. BM makes you think they make it more cinematic..... The takes in 4:41 look very close to me, and you could soften the GH5 with a filter or a softer lens.
@@JoaoSilva22222 do you really think it is marketing? Maybe but in that shot you see a moire effect on the shirt with the gh5, bmcc handles that better, but otherwise I also don't see a huge difference, maybe with skin tones
@@MP-xz7om After 2 years i have to agree with you on that part, but i still prefer my GH5 ten times over the BM, especially for the HLG profile. Anyway, the marketing can cloud our judgement.

Do you really enjoy elevator music? Because this shit sucks…. like no offence or anything bad on you, but I feel like I’m just on hold trying to watch your videos and it really makes them impossible to watch. so I would highly recommend that either add some more narrative or switch up the music big-time. because you play the exact same deathly song in every video dude I swear to God it is the most annoying fucking music in the world. That’s why it’s called elevator music, or “on hold” music. It’s just such a bad choice for a video….
I can guarantee you that nobody else wants to suffer through this music. I’m never getting rid of it you might actually gain more followers and views.
