Oh Hot Dang! Guys, this recap is the best on the internet, hands down! Do not waste your time listening to the other recaps, this one stands above the rest! And oh my gosh, if you haven’t heard his review yet, do it now! If you don’t, you are missing out on the most thrilling, jaw dropping literature summary you may ever have the pleasure of listening to! Ladies and gentlemen, don’t take my word for it, watch the vid!
Great recap, hope this gets more views, this is exactly what I was looking for. I remember the characters but forgot a bunch of the overarching details about the Spren and the shards. Subscribed!
Ty literally been years. I need this refresh. I read so many other books since then. The names are hard for me to remember. I remember the bulk of it tho.
I appreciate this recap more than you know. It has been about 8 months since I finished the other books and needed a good refresher before jumping into RoW. This was perfect and it’s all coming back to me
Awesome Recap!!!! Was trying to reread the series before Rhythm of War released but only got to half way thru the second and I did end up taking a month break even from that lol. Was feeling overwhelmed with names and systems within, knowing that there is so much I most likely am missing in my bad memory. So glad to have found this very informative and quick summary, was exactly what I needed to be able to start the new book with all those previous details refreshed! Thanks a ton!
I have only recently gotten in Sanderson’s book so this was really helpful for the new one! There is so much to take in and it’s a lot to pick up in one go. This was so helpful and really well scripted!!
I only watched a short portion, because I'm between Oathbringer and Rhythm of War right now and I was afraid of spoilers. The portion I heard was great though. You know your stuff! Thanks for putting this together.
Thank you for this! Just bought the audible for RoW and needed a recap of the others since it's been almost a year since I last read them. This was perfect.
Man I can't remember any of this lol. It makes no sense to me. But I don't wanna spend 200 hours rereading all the books when I'll remember everything as I go anyway. :(
As a non English native dude I recommend filming yourself while talking. Its easier to understand when seeing the one talking. Great recap! It’s been a year and a half since I finished oathbringer. Since then I’ve only read the whole Malazan book of the fallen series (witch is awesome, totally recommend). So I really need this recap!
I always found it strange that the Parshendi risked everything to prevent Galavar from returning the fused… only to then create the everstorm and return the fused.
@ the 8:20 mark you speak of Kaladin experiencing a vision of Dahlinar in trouble and he travels to Shadesmar then returns to fight Amaram. Why do I not remember this, what book was it in so I can go back and read it, ack!🤯
Con-vo-luted. Not your summary, but the plot itself. I dont think you should implement deep worldbuilding right from the get go. Once a story has grown on a reader, he craves for detail. Until then... Like... I get its epic proportions and really damn ambitious piece of work. But i cant find to really care. 2 books in and its just that tedious to get to the few rewarding moments.
I was in the middle of rereading Oathbringer after having read it two years ago (and forgetting a lot) and was looking for a review of the first two, hoping this review would be in order. And then less than two and a half minutes in, he says the reveal at the end of Oathbringer.........ugh. Kinda my fault, but I'm also annoyed at him. Still though, if I decided not to reread Oathbringer, this is a pretty good recap. I approve.
@@larissajoel3148 Don't apologize! I've read it before and it's my own fault for forgetting, and besides, it was actually nice to have that plot reveal in my mind as I reread the story, looking for clues and hints as i reread. It's such a complex story, i can't wait to begin Rhythm of War!
Dawnshard was trash. The author took the least inspiring of all the Stormlight cast and made whole novella out of a Diversity and Inclusion lesson. Unfortunately, I think it's the last book in the series I will read. Sad since the first 2 books are in my all-time top 10. Get woke, go broke.
me this whole video: "oh right, right, right"
I've watched a few hour-long recaps for each book and still your 14 minutes are the most informative. Thanks
Thank you, Kosta!
right?!? this is so much more helpful!
Yeah I think the way he did an overview of the state of the world was in some ways better than a linear recap of 3 books
100 percent. I don't have an hour or more to recap each book. This is great.
Best recap I've found so far, nicely done! Everyone have fun with Rhythm of War!

Thanks, Jack!
Impressive recap man! Well-written and well-spoken. Thank you for this.
Thank you, Arya!

Just wanted to say thank you. I was excited but overwhelmed when the new book came in. Now I'm just excited!
Awesome!
Same.
Best recap I’ve heard. Thank you so much.
You're doing a great job! Good one!🎉
Great work. Thanks for a consolidated recap highlighting the most important parts. Lots of crappy play-by-play chapter summaries out there.
Much appreciated!
I appreciate this recap more than you know. It has been about 8 months since I finished the other books and needed a good refresher before jumping into RoW. This was perfect and it’s all coming back to me
Thank you! Enjoy the book:)
Wow I am really impressed. This is the most concise summary of the major arcs that I have heard. Great job and thank you.
Just borrowed the fourth book and looked up a recap without expecting to find anything. to my surprise, this came up! thank you so much!

Thank you!
I enjoyed the summary, brought some much needed clarity.
Exceptional recap, thank you!
By far the best recap out there. You are a saint.
This is a fantastic recap most informative, thank you

Perfect recap (much needed by me!), got me even more excited to finally jump into Rhythm of War! Thanks so much for this!
I needed this so much, I purchased the book today and I was quite lost of the events in book 3
yes! thank you it's all coming back to me now!
Glad to hear it! Warning - another great book!

Thanks man, this was helpful and well put together!
Thanks for the recap!
Good stuff. I love your voice
Ahhh thank you for this! About to dig into RoW!!!
Thank you!
I’ve tried reading RoW two times and I always stop at least 30% in.
Not sure why but I want to finish it.
As a non English native dude I recommend filming yourself while talking. Its easier to understand when seeing the one talking.

So I really need this recap!
That is a good tip. Thanks!
Great job! Thank you for putting this together.
Thank you!
Great, succinct recap!
Thank you!
😊 thanks! I realise I had forgotten a lot
Welcome! Happy reading!
Thank you sir I was about to jump into rhythm of war
Well done. Thank you
Thank you!
Wow what a recap a true gem, subbed also your voice you could do audiobooks
Thanks, this earned a subscribe!
Awesome Recap, thank you!
Thanks!
Really nice job!
Thank you!
I always found it strange that the Parshendi risked everything to prevent Galavar from returning the fused… only to then create the everstorm and return the fused.
if im correct i believe it was only a few trying to bring back the fused, and I thought they did it secretely
What about Wit/Hoid?
can you do a rhythm of war recap please
I found I had forgotten who patience was and what shallans goals were.
@ the 8:20 mark you speak of Kaladin experiencing a vision of Dahlinar in trouble and he travels to Shadesmar then returns to fight Amaram. Why do I not remember this, what book was it in so I can go back and read it, ack!🤯
All of that stuff made up a good chunk of the second half of Oathbringer Im pretty sure
thank you so so much!
yes bestie thank u!
Thank You
The only thing that would improve this is displaying spelling of each name/region/pertinent term. 👏🤣
If someone were to ask you something, what would you say?
Something positive. Great question!
Oh wow, you really did whisper through this whole video! My phone's volume only goes so high
Con-vo-luted.

Shoot! Sorry, Jeremy! If it makes you feel better you are still in for multiple wild twists in the new book
