Back in the 70's, 80's, and 90's this song seemed to find its way onto the soundtrack of any horror movie about Werewolves. It was on a lot of soundtracks.
The reason songs from 60's till about 73 that's what studio execs said radio only wanted 2 1/2 to 3 minutes was long enough. Then they found out we wanted longer songs
I don't fast forward when you pause, because I've been following you so long I know I'm always going to trust your reaction space. I may not always agree with it, but I always trust it. And it's just fascinating to me to watch you discover these things with such an open mind and really articulating a lot of cool feelings and observations.
Love this one! This was such a popular song in it's day as were all CCR. Good reaction pick. Hey Ace I was just driving home and heard Respect by Aretha Franklin and thought I'd LOVE for Ace to react to this. It's Great!
Nice! Yes "Bad Moon Risin" has a country flavor, a back woods folksy feel, definitely Americana. For something more swampy and rockin' from Creedence, also check out "Green River", the title track of the album featuring "Bad Moon Risin", along with "Commotion", a rave up about the big city.
@@IAMisLove I went to a John Fogerty concert back in the late 1990's at a small outdoor venue in Phoenix, AZ. During the concert, John joked about people singing the line "There's a bathroom on the right" and asked everyone in the audience to sing "There's a bathroom on the right" with him as he performed Bad Moon Rising. A special night!
I was about 13 when this song came out. It was rumored that a parent had called into a radio station saying it should be banned because of the aweful lyrics, "There's a bathroom on the right." We got a good laugh out of that, and it became an ongoing joke after that.😄
So sorry, I was wrong Ace, not Bluegrass. They were Southern Rock or Swamp Rock. Had to look that up, nagging feeling. Southern Rock is what we fall them and others. Great reaction ❤
I highly recommend that you check out CCR's "I Put A Spell On You" ....incredible song!! 🎵🎼🎶🎸🎤🎙🎧🎹🥁🔥🔥🔥 Love your shirt...now unbutton that top button and relax!! You look uncomfortable!!🥳😉
I'm gonna go against everyone and say that I used to really love CCR as a kid, but as I've grown older, I feel that once you've heard a CCR song, you've heard them all, with few exceptions, such as "Have YOU Ever Seen the Rain." Once is enough. I don't feel the inclination to listen again.
John Fogerty is one of our greatest songwriters. Simple, but memorable songs, with great lyrics and the ideas behind the songs.

I can't help but think about "An American Werewolf in London" whenever I hear this song.
Hahahahaha! Yup!! June
I think about "Twilight Zone: The Movie" from 1982.
I was just going to say that! All I can see is that changing scene in my head when I hear it.
Have you ever seen 'An American Werewolf in London' 1981?
Happy New Year Ace! Stay safe and healthy! Great reaction to CCR!
Two of CCR's most upbeat songs are It Came out of the Sky and Travelin' Band. Both are worth a listen.

This might be my second favorite CCR song.
Great song by CCR. 🥰
Thanks for reacting to them.
A short little banger that's way too short, laugh. Love it.❤

In its days.
When I was kid I thought he was saying "There's a bathroom on the right"!!! 😂
I like your shirt, Ace! Hope you had a great Christmas :)
There's nothing like a rockin' feel good song about the end of the world.

Check out CCR's "Walk on the Water".
There's a bathroom on the right
😁I wasn't going to say it, but that's what it sounded like to me back in the day. 🖖❤
Huh?.....Edit...😅😅😅...never mind

Actually it's Folk Rock
Short was for AM radio,,
My favorite CCR song is Lodi , it’s a slow story telling song , also Green River is another gem . Not country more folk on this one.
I hope you enjoy this song❤❤❤❤
swamp rock
This could be the last song we listen to. Yeah. When the world ends by Dave Matthews is another one. Peace
Ace....those who say they aren't crazy.....are crazy 😅

When the Apocalypse is upon us, we might as well dance. What else is there to do? 😂

Please play shinedowns cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd song Simple Man
Bluegrass is what we referred to this type of music. Not folk, not country, not rock...Bluegrass. Yes, we're messing up, going backwards....
I'd call it more 'folk' than country.
Or maybe southern rock?
You stopped it a bit soon. There was a tad more.
Folksy music
