CCR has such a variety of great songs. Someday Never Comes, Feelin Blue, It Came Out of the Sky, Hideaway (Wish I Could), Cross Tie Walker, Tombstone Shadow, Effigy, the list goes on and on and I was shooting for ones that I don't recall you reacting to you yet that I also thought you might really like. ❤️
When I heard this song back in the early 70's is when I bought my first harmonica and started to learn this song on the harmonica..! And been playing ever since...
Ccr is one of my favorite groups..I grew up on them when they first started… I saw John Fogerty 3x at the Beckmann in NYC around 2009 and he sounded as strong as ever. This is a great track…maybe try heard it thru the grapevine live, long version, also bootleg, run through the jungle Born on the bayou..thanks ace
Actually, I thought of Lynyrd Skynyrd as well although it was much earlier in the song when John was having fun on the guitar solo but also the other guitar added to the effect for me. This is such a great dance song. I've danced to this so many times at parties or at bars or wherever. It's hypnotic.
OMG! I've been waiting for someone to re act to this song! This was their closing song at concerts But you still must react to the LIVE version! 'Woodstock' More fun to watch them, that way you see 'John Forgety' play lead guitar and harmonic The whole band is great Thanks.....
this one is a great balance. 80% blues, 20% rock. It's ok to compare, just make sure you know who came first. And, lets face it, everyone rips off everyone.

I had to buy their Woodstock Set LP for their live version of this one. Great jam! Happy New Year!✌️❤️🎶

Check out "Porterville", "Gloomy", and "Walk on the Water" for some different CCR sounds.

Skynyrd's first album didn't come out until 1973. CCR broke up in 1972.
❤❤
Who needs three chords? CCR could make a great song with just one.
