Really love popping in and seeing your games Filthy, makes me wish I could still play this game as much as I use to but too many other things to lately.
@ 17:56 ... "Ah Barbarian, you FOOL! You been baited ... baited into the sweet fire ... of my city." That's poetic-ish, and shit. I chuckled a lot. Needed it too. Thank you.
LOL I'm a new watcher but this start was hilarious with the guy complaining etc. I really love this channel. Even if I only play vs AI like a scrub I've managed to beat immortal thanks to your videos. Going for diety next.
Geez.. that Emblem guy was overdosing on salt. You had a bad start, we get it, dude. lmao Your trollish attitude this game was pretty amusing though, Filthy.
So far, I've only watched Filthy's guides and Game 77 (Babylon). Coming from that background and sitting through the first 15 minutes of this game, his behavior is extremely jarring. I find myself thinking, "Wow, he got WAY more entertaining somewhere between Aug2014 and March2015. This is so much more engaging!" I pray I see more of this! =D
I've noticed this in a few of your games-- how can you tell which civs (or if any civs) settled coastal? Is there a really obvious indicator that I'm missing?
@@CaseyTrimble 5 years late but to elaborate on what Kirk said is the because ocean tiles give less score than land tiles. So when a player has 22 score after settling they have a capital with 2 ocean tiles, when 23 then it's 1 ocean tile capital which is the most common. Land is typically 25 score. This is reliable apart from the Huns having Animal husbandry right away and the Shoshone having a million tiles. I used to know the scores to tell with those 2 before but that was a long time ago now lol
Border growth tends to avoid hills, which is bad on Liberty where border growth is slower than Tradition. To guarantee he gets good production tiles without having to purchase them he settles next to them.
Your second settle was bad IMO. If you settled one tile east on other side of river you pick up the cow and mover farther away from the CS tundra land.
+FilthyRobot Could you please elaborate on how border expansion works, or have you posted a video on it? Do the social policy openers affect which tiles your borders automatically expand to?
Mindless Ambience Social policies don't impact what tiles you grow to, just how quickly your tiles expand. The governor chooses tiles based on a combination of food yield, proximity, strategic resource, lux resource, and culture cost. Rough terrain, across rivers, or tiles further out from the city "cost" more culture for the city to grow to, and thus thus get picked up later. The problem is, this system often neglects the best tiles.
Filthy being the neighbor he always hates
"are you settling right on me man?" That whole exchange at 25:20 was fucking hilarious
The funniest video i have watched on this channel! Never seen FilthyRobot so happy/drunk/high/10 cups of coffee/the worst neighbor ever! LMAO!
What the hell happened to you in this match? You are waaaaay too happy and being trollish too when you're usually a good neighbor and kind. O_o

cus he picked liberty so he has to play like a dick

Lost at aquatic Stonehenge

Happy Troll Filthy donated his salt this game to Emblem, unfortunately he's a lightweight to salt @ Filthy's level.
was he on speed this game or something?
25:13 this border dispute made me lol
This was a hilarious game.
Filthy on dem stims
I love Emblem complaining the entire latter half of the video. Poor dude lol.
This game is hilarious so far, whatever you took before this game, you should take it a little more often

One person dislikes this video.. bet my left testicle it was emblem.
Pardon my ignorance, but how did you found a pantheon so quickly?
+Christian Schulzke Find a religious city-state first.
Are you not playing Civ anymore?
You should have asked Emblem to warn you if his Capital tried to expand into your second ring 😂
Do you want a lux trade? "You can go to hell." died :DDDDDDDDD
Probably been asked before but can't your opponents watch your twitch stream?
not yet its friday
So much butt-hurt... I wish I found these videos before my vacation is almost over.
EmblemFire has got to shut up
It's Knee-Say-Ya, not Knee-key-ya
I don't get why he settled his third city next to the two hills intsead of on one of them or on the cotton. Seems like the worst choice

I wouldve just muted that guy. So annoying.
aquatic stonehendge is actually better than the great lighthouse
That guy is soooo salty lmao
filthy! get more sleep! XD also thanks for the uploads. can never make the stream so the youtube is great! From new zealand ^_^
noice!
Damn emblem. The salt is real.
Filthy just came home from world war 3 as the duel champion....All those war experience, just GG bro and leave @emblem
I am like 10 years to late but how can you have 5 cities with 4 luxuries lol I am starved for happiness with for example 4 luxuries and 4 cities
hello filthy7
"My worker is not happy"
You just described capitalism.
Hilarious

You're thinking tradition cities. Liberty cities need to be settled with hills in inner ring because they wont expand to hills otherwise.
Makes sense, I guess I don't play Liberty enough to understand that before you mentioned it.

Do you know what determines culture costs of different tiles?
So much salt....
Emblem so much PJSalt.
That emblem dude is so annoying..
Not really. He was a good sport, compared to how he could've been.
