And, if I try and directly download the first segment to upload directly from my computer to youtube, it fails the download. Hills give immediate production. It's liberty so he's likely not going to be able to build observatory in the silver/mtn city, he just won't have the time and the low pop will make it matter less. With Pyramids coming out, he can improve the luxuries pretty quickly and he already had silver.
@@28lobster28 , still way better to settle directly onto the silver. One turn earlier and closer to all the growth resources. I wasn’t even taking the observatory into account.
@@Skjeggspir I definitely like the gold from settling on the silver for that particular city but in a Liberty strat I'd rather have the hammers from the hill. Arabia is fine on gold once he has bazaar. Silver is just a tradeable item which definitely helps later on, but having 2 hammers on the city for the entire game (and 25% defense, especially since it's coastal) is very nice.

Someone might have said this and i don't really have a place to make this suggestion but if i may suggest, you might want to upload the videos in order as well as release 1 or 2 parts per day so that your subs aren't overwhelmed with 13+ videos a day. Just a suggestion you can do it any way you'd like and i love your videos thanks for making good content Filthy!
+wong nigel true, he does play everyday and that is a lot of footage so I guess he needs to post it all so he's ready to post the rest from the next day after he's filmed it. It's just a lot to see 13+ 30 minutes plus videos.
Hey man, when you said "it destroys all national wonders", I'm not sure that's true - I often find guilds in cities I take over. I think it just destroys the ones that require a specific building in all your cities. Great game btw!
Also, why did Seanald immediately not DoW you when you took the Petra city? That was a point where he could kill you, and take Egypt for himself. What stopped him?

You can take land from them
They do damage units in cities (including planes and trade units). They won't take hitpoints from the city itself.

Very very late but guilds are in a special category, they're listed under national wonder but don't require a building in all cities
