that was pretty sick..I just got finished watching trad vs freedom and u followed the strategy exactly. so sick at the end your science vs theirs. nice work
Suppose India actually did the smart thing and bulbed into infantry while you still had musketmen or bulbed into bombers before you had infantry. Any way you can win that game? Would your production allow you to hold? Or not enough information to say?
+FilthyRobot yo dude! wasn't expecting an answer and less from you! (and fast as fuck). just started to watch your vids a coupple of days ago and I've learned a lot (complete noob here). Thanks. will watch that one tomorrow since I it's 5 in the morning and just ended this one :)
FilthyRobot Would you say Peaceful Gardens (I think that's what its called +2 happiness from gardens) as an enhanced religion pick would be a strong one, +2 happiness & 25% great person. Or would you say +2 happiness from temples would be the better all round pick if happiness was an issue and the +2 was needed.
IMO, Peaceful Gardens is situational since you won't have gardens everywhere in your empire because it requires a fresh water source, unless you are Indonesia, which in that case it's perfect since 1) you get gardens everywhere regardless of fresh water or not 2) not a lot of people pick that enhancement meaning it's more consistent. But if you're not Indonesia temple happiness is better since you can build temples anywhere in your empire.
***** lol shows how much I settle away from rivers, I didn't realize it needed fresh water. Thank you for the information, much appreciated. I kind of was leaning towards temples being the stronger of the two, I just love having 4-5 scientists to bulb
McNab1986 haha np, rivers are awesome for hydro plants late game I try to settle them as much as I can as well, but yeah the faith is always nice from temples for the scientists & in case you have pagodas you need to buy, etc.
And filthy pulls a nuke out of his ass to win the game. Classic. I'm honestly surprised India didn't attack you right when the Dutch war ended or even during the Dutch war. He let you catch up to him. Are weird maps like that common? Is it normal for the map to be divided in two like that with one civ serving as the connection between both halves?
That was one of your best games for me to watch. Shows just how powerful a liberty start can be.
This was by far the best game I have watched. Awesome work ! Liberty is a ton of fun, especially when it works !
That was Insane liberty game!
So much fun, war and giggling from Mr Filthy that i lost it multiple times.
It's funny how effective a well-placed nuclear missile can be.

That really looks like there was a science overflow bug...
17:38 the casual win condition

+every116 This is pre-NQ map script on the "Pangaea" map script, and that map script is more than capable of generating crazy maps like this.
I frequently get games on single player pangea where a single player divides the map in two.
I saw all those polders so i had to click
