    HI Elise. Thank you for another lovely and informative video. 1 question. Would you consider mica skin safe?

    • @WholeElise
      @WholeElise 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Mica is used heavily in makeup products (eyes and lips) so it is generally considered safe. The things to look out for is what substances it's mixed with to give it colour and whether it's meant for bath products or face products. But I do recommend micas as a natural option. Hope that helps 😊

      @jasminesaltibus 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Whenever you first put the shimmering lotion on your skin I couldn't see it and then you win you put more if you see the most watching from the storm but it's not really shimmery. I feel like you should be able to see it without having to go out and be in direct sunlight. The ones I made even when you're not in the sun you can see this beautiful shimmer and a slight glitter and when I did go out into the sunlight it was so beautiful and sparkly.

    I realize though with the sweet almond oil I used the pigment / sparkle / shimmer doesn’t actually stick to the body - what am I missing to actually get it to stay on the body without falling off!
    Also for the lotion I tried just putting pigment in and it ended up not distributing evenly!
    Do you have any recommendations / the oil is what I’d like to figure out the most!!

In all of the courses and videos I'm told that both the oil and water phases need to be a specific temp before combining. I've watched a couple of your emulsion videos and you don't focus on temp. You mention melting everything down to get rid of solids. Am I missing something?
