In this Mortal Online 2 guide for beginners I go over how to avoid getting killed by players out in the open world, whether you're farming or just travelling around. This video goes over how to best prepare yourself so that you're less likely to get attacked by other players, and have a better chance of getting away or surviving if you do get attacked. Everything you need to know to have the best shot at this is covered in this step by step guide.
I'm not an expert at this game, but from my limited experience playing and relearning the game so far, I think this will really help some newer players out!
This may not be the best guide, but I hope it helps some people out there, and I'll aim to make more and improve over time in future videos!

The main way to survive is to know the lay of the land, where groups typically camp, and what groups are currently in town and likely to leave soon. If you take all these things into account than 75% of the time you won’t have any issues.
First thing, when you go out of the city alone, consider you're already dead. If you survive it will be more like a reward. It's a good thing to have a good type of mentality so you don't feel bad when you lose your gear.
Most underrated way to survive against most players is jumping in water with swimming skills. only other swimmers can even go into the water and only mages can really kill

Most important thing is to not carry anything you cant aford to lose, go out in low tier gear and if you die you lose nothing, consider gear as consumable.
Is the Str bow build still there?

isnt jotun horse better then desert in mo2?
Easy keep alot of stam on your horse have a second if possible track houses that are open run to the nearest and log out takes 10 seconds
Now, can they please enable armor weight on players that affect speed. Currently, armor weight only affects mana regen for mages.
A heavy armor Alvarin with 121 Dex still able to move at 430+ speed is ridiculous.
armor weight does affect movement speed, but only if your "armor training" skill is too low. I agree though they should tweak this a bit.
@mynameisawesomeman if ya wearing full steel with 121 dex, you really should not be running at 427+ speed...just my thoughts

How dumb is 131 dex? Feels like I am giving up quite a lot of health and whatnot, but then again I just want to run away when attacked. Just want to gather/craft/explore, not into pvp
131 dex will make you faster than pretty much anyone else, but you'll be weak in most other areas with lower hp like you mentioned, so it really depends on how you want to play. If you're happy to run away to avoid any other players you can definitely do it much more easily with that level of dex, unless they can catch up to you with a horse where the dex won't make a difference to your speed. I'd say if you and your potential enemies are on foot, you'll be able to get away 9/10 times with 131 dex, but if they have a horse it will really come down to your horse riding skills and the horse itself. Hope this helps!
131 dex makes no sense, because no 131 dex player will chase anyone.

Is it higher survival rate to be in a big guild to move around?
Hey Mario, it definitely is as you'll be with a group who can protect you, and it will be way less likely for any other players to attack since you won't be alone. Even if you're travelling solo but are in a big guild, some players who might otherwise kill you might decide not to as they don't want the guild to blacklist them or kill them on sight in future, or they might be allies. Hope this helps!

Not sure but I think KOTO is one of the biggest, I’ve mostly played around Meduli though so I’m not really sure which others are big outside of there
the best advice in the video is at the start, and at the end.. you really want friends to play with.. and you really need to practice the pvp.. there is no such thing as a pve player.. you will quit mortal if you have that mentality
Now that I think about it also on new world one can get killed while gathering and noone complains there as much as in Mo2, ppl even want a pve only server.
In new world you can choose to leave a city in pvp mode or not.
And in new world you dont lose all your gear on death lol

Most players are quite friendly? Where do u live? Haven? This is misinformation and you should not recommend people to go up to strangers in the wild. You should avoid people outside of towns that you do not know
