Pet Users in Mortal Online 2, are Pets OP? Should you be a Tamer/Dominator? My opinions.

- This is my View on Pets in Mortal Online 2 at the moment. I don't have a lot of PvP experience using pets, so my views my not support some claims made by more experienced tamers and dominators.
At the same time, I don't fully understand foot fighter or archery struggles when dealing with pets either, since the recent nerf to archery I'm sure it's a lot more difficult dealing with pets at the moment.
In the future I see pets becoming even stronger due to the various quality life fixes that will be implemented.

great info! would be nice if there was a place for tamers like a tamer discord or something. As a new player who is looking into the Apex Tamer build here on youtube there is just so many questions

Hey what do you mean by eldar tamed? I thought you couldn't tame the eldar animals?
A pet turns into it's Elder/Alpha form at level 101. It is possible to tame an Alpha/Elder creature it just takes forever and is very unlikely you'll succeed.
Thanks for taking the time to preach for all the tamers. I try and do my part by constantly priming Henrik with bear armor when comments everytime i see him stream or in game. Pro tip, you can loggout when your pet is stuck in or on something. just be close enough that the pet will loggout, its about 5 feet. then when you relog your pet will be where you logged out, not in the rock. 2 minutes should always be faster than any gm ticket. Personally i'm not using my pets to fight or even to farm. you are right about the time sink of obtaining and then leveling a pet. its not worth it to me right now investing that time and losing the pets so fast. Im saving almost all my pets and only take them out to bounty hunt inside of towns. when Henrik gives us pet armor, then i will start taking pets to pvp, by then it sounds like they will keep up with horses. pets not being able to go close to houses and strongholds needs to be fixed.. thats just dumb and broken imo. And for anyone that wants to see a human hybrid tamer build, this is what my alt account is, mortaldata.com/?character=1763331188367294464 . how difficult is it to tame some of these creatures, like the tag .. is this really a solo kinda thing or would you need assistance.
it depends on your build. As a mage tamer you'll struggle with some aggressive animals. If you're a MA or Footfighter, most animals will just nibble on your armor.
Is PET still dumb ? Because, I found it annoying that the pet can't act by itself especially when you die.
Yeah it's still pretty messed up, but a whole lot better! They added in a pet teleport feature... I should make an updated video...

Mounted Archer argument has always been valid throughout MO1 and 2. There's always gonna be these counters to tamers. One could make the same argument for a mounted mage attacking a footie that happens to be in steel in an open field. Unless the MM is a complete bonehead he should be able to kill nearly any class on foot. Same with an MA who can actually land a shot. Tho tbf the footie should be able to kill the mounted archer easily if he's got a longbow.
Being a mage on a horse isnt great, we speed up slow down turn left or right and our spell cancels.

I dont think they are op at all i have a mounted archer and thursar ff never had an issue all depends on the situation as long as you put your self in a good spot you will beat a tamer every time
Pet teleporting is coming which will probably be like it was in mo1. Pets were horrible in mo1 they could pass though walls attack from underground and water was certain death because the pet ignored it and just flew right to you.
I really hope they do their best to make it reasonable for both parties. We have our problems as pet users, but I hope they don't make new problems for other playstyles by "fixing" things. I'll be sure to speak up about it if it gets ridiculous.
Most of taming is fine. 3+ dire wolves for foot mage is not okay tho. Or a fatmage with 2 dire wolves. Very not okay. Only aspect of taming that I think needs a good nerfbat. They either need to make it one max direwolf or one max direwolf with maybe a very low level crapper one on the side. So they will have to choose between a horse or that extra direwolf. My personal opinion. Most everything else is fine.
They just need to make pets mountable
There are some good pet users that can easily make pets seem OP. My current build is NOT made for PvP. I could do things to make it more viable, but I haven't due to my personal reasons and somewhat stubbornness. If you are a tamer and make content for youtube or twitch feel free to promote your channel content in this video :)
Its not pokémon online, pets are trash in this game
