Pretty sure the absolute WORST insult Vader ever received from a Jedi was two-fold: getting chopped up by Obi-Wan and then getting his decade's long revenge whisked away when Kenobi pulled a Houdini.

Only thing that bugs me about this one is the fact that Bene told Vader about the dangers of the caverns. A true Jedi would have lured Vader into the caverns and swiftly ignited his lightsaber, ending the tyranny of the dark lord once and for all. The Jedi were no strangers to sacrificing themselves for the greater good, so what’s with Bene?
Not all the Jedi are the same. Bene wasn't willing.
Also, Vader has the biggest plot armor.
Vader would get replaced by Palpatine in a year or two with someone who was probably going to be worse.
Would have been pointless in the long run.
@@LamborghiniDiabloSVPursuit four year old comment but nah, you're completely wrong. palpatine literally groomed anakin for this role, vader may not be as strong as he could have been but he's still stronger than any of palpatine's previous apprentices. he's been shown to demolish literally every jedi thrown in his path, so no, palpatine wouldn't just be able to "replace" him.

I think the art of legends comics (the serious ones) is so much better than most of that belonging to cannon especially when it concerns Vader or the legacy characters.
