I know these are recorded days in advance, but I wanted to mention that it's the sphynx salt that makes you immune to confusion. The entire time it was up you weren't confused, as soon as it ended, the confusion kicked in. It was the only injector who's description you didn't check.
I actually recorded this episode only an hour or so before it went out, as I'm still ill and was running out of backlog! Thanks so much, luckily I have a bunch of them stocked up :)
I like how the dervish's name was Tiwer-No-Longer and you decapped him instantly. Thus, he truly was Tiwer No Longer.
-4,417 degrees is indeed extraordinarily cold. Especially considering that -273 degrees is where there is a total absence of heat, and is the minimum possible value.
Glitter III is a component of the Crystal Delight recipe, that's probably what you remember it from. Otherwise these are pretty useless.
That was brown sludge, which rusts your stuff. The black stuff is what gives you a disease: Ironshank at even elevations (like the surface), Glotrot at odd elevations.
Sphynx Salt injectors are the ones that make you immune to confusion, that's why you didn't get confused until it expired.
Haven't played much Qud lately, only enough to get a couple more achievements down. 9 to go, but I think I'll wait until release. There will probably be additional achievements then, too...
wow, I actually had no idea about the elevations giving different diseases! That's totally new lore! I used to have all 100 achievements before they added the new 50. I'm also holding out on perfect-ing it until full release, just in case they add more (I don't think they will but you never know)
Maaan, flight + reflective Shielding is rough! Ape god putting in absolute work too, love to see it! RIP the golem, but it'll be back! I kinda love the idea of it being an ape golem, after all it's supposed to climb the spindle, and what is better suited to that role than a giant ape?
