@Brent Ferrell I found it pretty funny! I'm glad at least one other person understood what I was saying. He needed to check parallel to the seam (or joint, the plane of the jeep), not perpendicular to the force of gravity (level). Lol
I am changing mine out also. I found a nice looking “Hurricane Rated” badge…and since we just had a hurricane pass through Florida, I think it is okay to place the Badge on the Gladiator.
Side note, dental floss will work best for this type of jobs… also putting a level will confirm nothing since the jeep will never be level, the best thing to verify will be to check the level on the top black screws hoping the level reached the light of those two bolts and then compare, but good video no doubt or even with the line of the fender and match it

My new Desert rated badge has a positioning pin on the back of the badge in its center. I guess i will just grind it off because I don’t want to punch a hole in the body panel. Suggestion?

But where you put yours didn't look like there was a spot for it. I want to put this on my cherokee trailhawk but It Wont work sigh the aluminum piece sticking out the middle of the back but it doesn't look like yours has it either. I'm confused

Looks good. I added a badge below the trail rated badge. It's the Jeep Performance Parts badge. It looks like a gear. You can get them on ebay. It's supposed to come with the Mopar lift, but mine was missing.

I didn't know black badges were a thing! I've covered my chrome/silver door locks with a black matte finish cover so the badges are the next step.

I got the granite crystal with bronze fuel zephyrs so mine looks good as is. Most stuff on the granite comes black which i was happy with.
