    This is so nice to see a young couple enjoying yourselves on matching platforms. Those look like solid and reliable bikes.

    The Flo low footpegs are amazing! I have a 2022 300 se factory and that is one of the first things I changed. Opened up the cockpit and made it feel much better, and they are super grippy.

      Awesome, will look into that. My boots, which have the motocross sole, slides off occasionally. The pegs seem flat, instead of angled inwards. Annoying!

    I have a 2020. I agree with the other commenters about the bar risers and especially the FLO lowering foot pegs. Also, I really liked switching from a 14 to 13 tooth front sprocket. So nice for technical steep slow hillclimbs.

      Awesome. Thanks for watching and leaving your feedback! Hoping to do a 30 hour review. I’m just about there!

    I have a 22 SE250 Factory also, I am also 5'6. I installed enduro engineering bar risers to get the more upright feel, it made it feel a lot more comfortable for me, something ya'll might want to look into if you haven't already.

    Those are some cool dirt bikes! I am probably going to switch brands and try a Sherco or a TM. My KTM seems to be working great, 64 hours without an issue. Good time to be riding dirt bikes lots of good choices!

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed! So much to choose from nowadays. Before, the only enduros you could find were KTMs. Now we have an assortment of brands available where I live!

  • @Dobemandan

    Swap out 3 clutch springs with softer KTM springs and it's perfect!!
    13 tooth front sprocket.
    You'll get used to the pegs in no time. They're very high quality.

      60+ hours in now and I agree! The stock pegs are the bomb! 🙌 I swapped the rear sprocket to gear it down. I also swapped out 3 clutch springs for the softer KTM ones! Great minds think alike! 👍

    You probably already found out but if you unscrew gas tank bolt and lower bolt on each side then you don't have to unscrew each bolt for plastics. The fuel tank will come out with plastics easily.

    You may want to look into Midwest Mountain Engineering clutch/brake levers to lighten up your pull - they work great once you get them adjusted correctly.

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll definitely check out those levers you are talking about. Currently running the flo lever. So far it seems to be helping.

      I am going to 2nd this recommendation. I have one on my 22 SE300. It makes the pull lighter and broadens the engagement zone.

    Hi from Germany ;-). I own my 22 300se for less than a month now and I am mounting extras of protection - which brand produced the pipe/engine guard you mounted? Looks good!

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for stopping by! The brand of pipe guard / skid combo is “Motoes”.

    Sweet ! Is it blue plated? Mine is lol

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We only have green plates. But now we are allowed to use roads (just like ATVs). Recently passed in our by-law. It's nice, we can ride directly from our house now without worrying! Thanks for watching!!! 👍👍👍

    You guys can heat the linkage guards up and bend them so they don’t rub on the shock mount. I can send you a pic of mine if you want. I’ll message you on the gram.

    How do you like the bike? Is it heavy?

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's slightly heavier than my 200 xc-w. It doesn't feel heavier when you ride it through. It handles like a dream and feels ultra-light. However, I do feel a weight difference when I drop the bike and have to hand bomb it around. But you don't feel that while riding, at all... You can flick it around pretty easily. It's awesome! It could feel heavier in my case because I have a 7 pound skid plate on it. Didn't have that on my other bike. It's minimal, really... Thanks for watching!

    What jetting did you end up with

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We adjust our jetting according to the chart provided in the JD jet kit, depending on temperatures. Obviously we go a notch richer when riding late fall, even early spring.

    How tall are you and did you lower your bike?

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm 5'-6", and not lowered. Just re-sprung the suspension for my weight. Thanks for taking the time to watch my video. 👍

    So 2 250s he didn’t get the 300?

    • @rose.lantaigne
      @rose.lantaigne  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, 2x 250's. We prefer the engine characteristics of a 250. Playful. More nimble feeling. Slight nuance really. The 300's are awesome too.
