I found your channel after a break down, I’m physician by profession but I’m not happy with that, I love cooking and baking and my dream is to have a coffee shop and bakery of my own, I’m Mexican and I was thinking of baking some of the Mexican recipes I learned from my granny and mom, and also cakes we eat there, but I’m not sure if Americans will love that or just baking the normal cakes over the world, but this video and your words are so inspiring ❤thank you!!

It is a wonderful idea! I can't tell you how many people have called me to see what I have ready to go. Definitely is a thought to have some items ready to sale & the market. Girl, this takes time to find out what is needed in your area. I love hearing & seeing your business and I missed you! ex-teacher, it all makes sense now because I am nervous speaking in front of people & online too. However, you do it well. Isn't always trial & error that is how we learn. Nice to see again!

Good for you!!!! I’m doing the same here in DE. One thing I found that has helped me was being a Vendor at Community events. I passed out many business cards. I got invites for other Events and cake and cupcake orders. I wish you best of luck and thank you so much for all your videos. You were my inspiration and helped me to get where I am today.

Love your channel!!!! I would like to see your system on how you keep track of expenses etc for tax purposes. I also want to know all the ins and outs of running the business and being organized and how to best manage your time and effort. I've just started my own business and feel like I am making a huge mess of things. I also work another job 35 hours a week...finding time to bake and manage the business is a real struggle.
Thank you!! For tracking I use a system called wave apps. I hope to share my process more on Organization and management. Although I’ve improved significantly, I struggle with Organization. I am messy lol. Chaos comes before the beauty sometimes just like cleaning! Take note of what’s working for you and what needs improvement and make changes little by little!

I am retired and need to supplement my income. I have starred baking cakes and selling them from my home and at pop ups. I appreciate all the information. We all may need a side hustle one day. Your advice to be legit is so true because haters will report you more than the county or state finding out and shut you down. Great advice. I am amazed at the 120 cakes whew that's a lot of work. I need to be fearless when it comes to making videos and learning how to do editing. Do you grease the aluminum pans. I need to watch the videos so I can figure this all out. I bake morning noon and at night. I need short cut tipsI have an entrepreneurial spirit and always loved to cook and sell products. It's about being personable too and reaching people.Thank you again and again for sharing your journey. It takes great determination and encouragement to keep going. I have a baking business…sometimes slow then other times busy busy. This is part time alongside my 9-5 job.
My business has an llc but I have yet to get the address and website up and running. Sometimes very discouraging but most times I’m just enjoying the baking..not too good with the business aspects

I live in the boonies… out here with the deer, coyotes, cows and everything else except other humans beings lol.
