In the mid-2000s Australian version, the number of top answers the first player gave in the first part of the bonus round actually determined the amount of money to be played for. It went in ascending order, from $5000 for none, $10,000 for one, $15,000 for two, $25,000 for three, $50,000 for four, or $100,000 for all five. This was in Australian dollars of course.

That's so awesome that she got 200 on her own. I'm almost positive its impossible to get 200 on Family Feud nowadays. Not cause of the questions or survey people, but because of the game/setup itself. They want to give the other person a chance to get to play as well.
@Rage Maniac, et al, the format is always the same, but the problem is not necessarily the rules of the game that may have changed over the years, but, rather, it is a combination of the people that simply do not guess the Number 1 answers, as well as another overlooked, yet painfully obvious problem that is overlooked, namely, the fact that the 100 people that take the surveys for the questions simply do not have enough people to give answers that will total 40 or more points on the board per answer in the Fast Money Round, as each point that is on the board is an answer to a survey question that is being asked, thus your claims are incorrect. Moreover, even IN the modern Harvey era of the show, there have been answers that have totaled 40 or more points in the other Rounds, and there also have been answers that have totaled 40 or more points in the Fast Money Round, so it is entirely possible for a person to score 200 or more points by themselves in the Fast Money Round. Were it done otherwise, then it could be problematic for the ethics of the show, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, The $64,000 Question, The $64,000 Challenge, Tic-Tac-Dough (the 1950s version), Twenty-One (the 1950s version, not the 2000s version), The Big Surprise, and Dotto all have had their fair share of scandals over such things themselves.

I believe they have reconfigured this segment where even if you got the #1 answer for each question, it still wouldn't equal 200 preventing this same scenario in the future.
