Tina Louise was a exception, prefer to not to associate with the reunions shows after the series ended. She wasn't friends with Dawn Wells. I'm not sure about the others though
I love how Alan Hale wore the skipper's hat everywhere. He really loved that character. You don't see much of that now cause actor's are too afraid of typecasting.
I recall his wife saying that “The Skipper” was an alter ego for him. She said something to the effect of, “when he put that hat on, he wasn’t Alan; he was The Skipper.
I love this. Thanks so much for posting this. It is so beautiful to see all of them on the show together. They also displayed good showmanship for each other. Those days were so special. Good times, good shows, good people.
You are very correct.. He even had a Restaurant called Skippers on La Cienaga near Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood! I was a teen in the early 80s and used to walk by the restaurant that was closed by that time but still had the impression of the Skippers sign on the top of it. I looked up the history and Alan Hale used to love a good steak and seafood like me and I wish I had been able to visit it wnen it was open, because Alan was known to hang out and greet the guests!! It also was said to have terrific food!!

Adam West, Vincent Price, Lee Merewether, Yvonne Craig, Burt Ward, Dawn Wells, Jim Backus, Alan Hale, Natalie Schafer and Russel Johnson all in the one video?? This is a 60's cinematic masterpiece of historical proportions.
Beautiful, 2 of my favorite shows as a kid. Those were the days. Those were the best that TV had to offer. Great to see all these great actors and actresses together ❤
Two of my favorite shows as a kid (reruns in the 70s). It's sad that most of them are gone. Fortunately they'll all live on with retro TV, and entertain all new generations.
What an honour to of been entertained by all these beautiful and ever so natural people when I was a kid. Geee we were so lucky to of been born back then……
Well, it actually wasn’t. It was pretty paltry even then. It was more about exposure to the charity itself to get others to donate, and to get ratings, of course, maybe even improve syndication views for royalties to the actors present. $5K, even $50K wouldn’t have gone very far to feed hungry kids worldwide.
Actually, although I LOVED both Batman & Gilligan's Island (& still do), they were pretty stupid, insipid shows. Compare them to today's Golden Age of TV (HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Starz, BBC, PBS, AMC, the networks, Amazon Prime, Paramount, etc., etc.). There are SO MANY great, well-written shows today, it's impossible to watch a quarter of them. There's a reason why big name movie actors are falling all over themselves to do TV. Whereas, back in 1983, TV was still looked down on by movie actors. Part of that was unfair stigma, but it's partly because there hasn't been this many great shows since the original Golden Age of TV.
Watched these great folks every day with a bowl of cereal when I was a kid, still do from Time to time. Have a tear in my eye, thinking about how much they blessed many of us many times! One word-LEDGENDS
R.I.P. Jim Backus (1913-1989), Alan Hale, Jr (1921-1990), Natalie Schafer (1900-1991), Vincent Price (1911-1993), Richard Dawson (1932-2012), Russell Johnson (1924-2014) Yvonne Craig (1937-2015), Adam West (1928-2017) and Dawn Wells (1938-2020). Now the only 2 that are still alive in this show are Lee Meriwether and Burt Ward. When these 2 pass away a time when television was golden will be dead and gone. :(
I first saw Lee Meriwether in Barnaby Jones, and saw the 1966 Batman movie a little while later. Always loved Dawn Wells, and Yvonne Craig as Batgirl. I knew she had guest-starred on Star Trek and The Wild, Wild West, and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, but I was also pleased to find out that she had been on McHale's Navy, My Favorite Martian and even The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. '60s tv series had many female stars who ushered us into manhood, even in syndication in the '70s; I'd like to add Marta Kristen from Lost in Space to the list. And in its third and final season, Angela Cartwright(hope I'm spelling it right). She was always a cute kid, who grew up to become a very lovely young lady.
Thank you for posting this. I have been a Vincent Price fan since I was a little girl. To find out he finds gardening as relaxing as I do was a real treat. Loved the whole video.
Time is a crazy thing. These people were on THE hits shows in their day. By the time this show was filmed they were well past their prime but still burning bright. Now, almost all of them are dead and most people under 35 would probably not know who any of them were at all. The wheel of time turns on…
I forgot how fun vintage Family Feud used to be. Quick answers, quick wit and tougher questions than today. Nice job by both teams and of course, Mr. Richard Dawson.
I ran home from school every day to watch Batman I loved the show, I'm in my 60's now and when I saw it come out on DVD 📀 I bought it!!!! Great show!!!!
Yeah she was very attractive. She also aged like a fine wine and she was beautiful in her 20's and 70's. She was a sweetheart on and off the camera and helped with many charitable causes. She is missed
I went to the same school, Kennedy High in Granada Hills, California, as Kyle and Leslie, Lee Meriwether's daughters. I was in Drama and met and had some brief encounters with Leslie who was very beautiful and a very sweet person. I do remember a couple of times that Lee Meriwether actually showed up and had some brief conversations with our Drama Teacher. This was in the early 80s..
Vincent Price is a HUGE legendary actor! Wonderful man! Classic icon! It would of been nice if they had Ceasar Romero "The Joker" on the game show! Another legendary, superb actor!
@@olivervanburen704 It's almost tragic looking back on these days, a decade before I was born, and seeing so much sweetness, kindness, openness. Nobody looking at you funny or hooting when you mention making love. Nobody calling a guy a freak or slapping him for wanting to kiss pretty girls. All those hard-hitting-issue-based sitcoms that still managed to be funny and not big ol' bringdowns, and represent a variety of viewpoints with respect. it's not exactly hard to see what happened though

Great episode - 2 classic shows - Dawn Wells, Yvonne Craig and Lee Merriweather are all GORGEOUS !!! Thanks for posting.
I love their energy! They were all celebrities and yet they were having so much fun, as if it was their first time on TV.
The beauty of watching this all these years later is that you could see just how much each TV show cast loved each other and how close they were. Thank you for sharing this with us!
BUZZR LET'S PLAY
Tina Louise was a exception, prefer to not to associate with the reunions shows after the series ended. She wasn't friends with Dawn Wells. I'm not sure about the others though
When you work on a set you are there 12 hours a day many days. Met my best friend on a set over a decade ago. Still friends!😊
Host kissed all the women on the lips!
I read that he dressed as the Skipper for guests at his seafood restaurant! :-)
Yeah I heard he was a very optimistic and very nice person
'cause* actors*
And to think that Carrol O'Connor once auditioned for the "Skipper" role!
I love this. Thanks so much for posting this. It is so beautiful to see all of them on the show together. They also displayed good showmanship for each other.
Those days were so special. Good times, good shows, good people.
Skipper even wore his hat.
Adorable! Loved him!! 🥰🐻
I have to admit I adored Alex Karras ❤
@erikandrus4387 Oh yesss!
Alan Hale Jr. Was a fine character actor and never put down the show. His Dad was Errol Flynn's wing man in movies and bar brawls.
Dawn Wells passed away last month at the age of 82. We love you, Mary Ann.
Wow, I didn't know until now Dawn Wells died! Rest in Peace, Mary Ann.
That was the last one alive I believe
@@tommybrown3477 No, Ginger (Tina Louise) is still alive.
😭
After she passed away She would've definitely died as WELL 💯💯 percent
Watched the entire game. Wow!! These guys were so amazing, and a huge part of my childhood. Thank you for all those wonderful years you had us glued to the TV...
💜🙏💜 RIP
R.I.P to all of these wonderful actors and actresses. Especially to the lovely Dawn Wells on 12/30/2020
Adam West, Vincent Price, Lee Merewether, Yvonne Craig, Burt Ward, Dawn Wells, Jim Backus, Alan Hale, Natalie Schafer and Russel Johnson all in the one video?? This is a 60's cinematic masterpiece of historical proportions.
RusseLL two fucking ‘L’s!!!
Warmly,
Russell
Accept Family Feud with Richard Dawson happened in the 80s
You should watch
High School USA sometime it has a virtual who's who cast of 60s TV stars. Including Bob Denver
@@francishelvey2251 this particular episode was in the 70s I believe
It is. If only Ginger was in also. It would be the best ever. Lol
Beautiful, 2 of my favorite shows as a kid. Those were the days. Those were the best that TV had to offer. Great to see all these great actors and actresses together ❤
Me to, two of my all time favorite TV shows growing up, but I watched it in reruns in the 80s, love all those actors and actresses♥️
Just watched and couldn't wipe the smile from my face the whole 22 minutes. What memories!
Huge smile on my face watching this. Such great fun, great people!
Two of my favorite shows as a kid (reruns in the 70s). It's sad that most of them are gone. Fortunately they'll all live on with retro TV, and entertain all new generations.
What an honour to of been entertained by all these beautiful and ever so natural people when I was a kid.
Geee we were so lucky to of been born back then……
Vincent Price at the end of the lineup? The man was a living legend bigger than life back then!
The best is always saved for the end. It's classy so they don't upstage the rest.
Vincent Price as Dr. Phibes !!!
he was not a regular on the show and they probably wanted to line-up boy -girl -boy girl
Before he recorded his voice for Michael Jackson thriller
Sadly only Lee Merriweather and Burt Ward are still with us. So many talented performers gone! RIP
😢
Then again, is Vincent Price truly dead? He always came back. 🙂
Julie Newmar is still with us, she'll be 91 on August 16th...
@@88milesfan101Take a hat bubble bath
Dawn Wells, Yvonne Craig and Lee Meriwether.....NATURAL beauty and sexiness in the roles they played.
Amen, Hope Dawn is BornAgain Christian.

When $5000 for charity was actually an impressive achievement.
LMFbO ...........🚶
Well, it actually wasn’t. It was pretty paltry even then. It was more about exposure to the charity itself to get others to donate, and to get ratings, of course, maybe even improve syndication views for royalties to the actors present. $5K, even $50K wouldn’t have gone very far to feed hungry kids worldwide.
Russell Johnson's bubbly personality really came out in the fast round. I love it!
Russell Johnson appeared in a lot of westerns.
WOW what a lineup.. When Hollywood had good shows and good people..
Lee Meriwether's meoww is worth the price of admission alone.
yes.!!!!!!!!!
Roowwwwwllllll!!! 😉😛
She also starred in Irwin Allen's "Time Tunnel"
She was also in one of the Original Twilight Zone episodes, iirc
Lee Meriwether also a classic beauty like Dawn Wells
Watched these great folks every day with a bowl of cereal when I was a kid, still do from Time to time. Have a tear in my eye, thinking about how much they blessed many of us many times! One word-LEDGENDS
In the victory, did you see how Mrs. Howl did not leave Thurston's side. What a real classy lady and friend.

Justin Martyr Also from Batman.

+BayareaGuy06 Tina Louise (Ginger Grant) is also still alive, she and Dawn are the last of the Gilligan's Island cast
+BayareaGuy06 What about Bob Denver, Gilligan himself? I guess be cause he wasn't on this FF episode?
My mother loved this show sooooooo much back in the day. Reminds me of the good old days! I miss those days more than ever now.
Alan Hale was the nicest, happiest guy. Loved that show. Such a delightful cast! 🤍
People looked happy back then rather than looking for something to be offended by, as people do today. Hope we can get that back.
@@dakoderii4221 me to
your right Alan Hale was the happiest and nicest guys and I love that show to
@@dakoderii4221 👍
Alan was among the nicest...but hardly among the happiest. I worked twice with Russell in the 80's--a vivacious man.
I never thought I'd live to see this era as The Good Old Days.
Lee Meriwether, Dawn Wells and Yvonne Craig, some of the most desired women of 60's television.
A perfect trifecta!
Imagine if Eartha Kitt and Tina Louise were there...Richards head would explode! They were such beautiful women.
@@divadina2069 Let's not forget Julie Newmar.
She was always a cute kid, who grew up to become a very lovely young lady.
yup they make halle barry look like the skinniest olson twin
This is superb. Thank you for sharing! I'm 42 and love this.
These two shows... a big part of my childhood. Love this!!!
A trip down memory lane. Nice to see all especially Vincent Price!
Dawn Wells stayed and took care of Natalie S. when she was sick and in her death bed, something you never hear of these days.
Robbie Smith she was so sweet
That's because they were close friends...
'Dawn' dude... 🙂👍
YES she did! AND Natalie gave Dawn a VERY Expensive, Vintage Broach the she had worn ON the show as a gift that she STILL has!
Her name is Dawn, not Don. She's not a dude.
So many memories!!! I watched this show home sick with the chicken pox in 5th grade. I love it!
I miss those days, wish I could go back!
I wanna go back and do it all over but I can't go back I know.....
I’ll bet some of the drugs were way better than they are now. 😂🤣 like oh never mind 😂
Thank you for posting this. I have been a Vincent Price fan since I was a little girl. To find out he finds gardening as relaxing as I do was a real treat.
Loved the whole video.
I just love the skipper, seems like a very happy person all the time, and Vincent Price, the man who scared us all when we were children.
so do I
Time is a crazy thing. These people were on THE hits shows in their day. By the time this show was filmed they were well past their prime but still burning bright. Now, almost all of them are dead and most people under 35 would probably not know who any of them were at all. The wheel of time turns on…
How lovely to see everybody! Such class and intelligence, and everyone having good clean fun.
I love how the Professor answered his questions at the end, haha :)
I forgot how fun vintage Family Feud used to be. Quick answers, quick wit and tougher questions than today. Nice job by both teams and of course, Mr. Richard Dawson.
It's an extremely fun and entertaining show as hosted by Dawson. Buzzr still broadcasts reruns in the early AM hours and TH-cam has many episodes.
Tougher, and cleaner!
It's cool seeing these people play this game. And they were funny too. Those two shows were some of my favorites as a kid.
Gilligans Island had the Advantage of Having the professor on their team.
The Professor outsmarted Bruce Wayne.
He could build a radio out of a freakin' coconut, but he couldn't build them a boat??
Idk Bruce Wayne is a pretty smart dude, AND a millionaire.
The Professor has a very sharp mind in real life.
@@williamnorkelun1468 And couldn't build them a boat...when they already had a boat that just needed to be repaired!

My crush of 50+ years is gone. RIP Dawn Wells. ❤️❤️❤️
Yeah she was very attractive. She also aged like a fine wine and she was beautiful in her 20's and 70's. She was a sweetheart on and off the camera and helped with many charitable causes. She is missed
Pure joy watching this. Way better time back then.
Amazing upload here... for many of us these were, and are, treasured performers from our childhood.
What about the Penguin, Burgess Meredith?
Just imagen if they had the good guys in Batman playing against the villains of the show! That would have been epic!
@@colorin81colorado Great Scott!!!
Gorshin would've been epic to see too.

Vincent Price was also an amazing philanthropist. He has a museum at East Los Angeles College where he donated much of his art collection.

@@laustinspeiss I agree, people do not respect each other anymore not like it used to be.

Same here. First time seeing it. Historic.
I loved watching the Batman show as a kid. My favorite too 😍.
Nothing against Gilligan's Island, but I was rooting for Batman.
And I was disappointed, and I hated to see them go out like that ☹️.
However, Adam West was a class act to come over and congratulate Gilligan's Island for their big win.. BATCLASS...
If I could weigh the amount of class on this stage, I'd be crushed.
Rest in peace Dawn : A real beauty.
