  • Christina’s personal story unfolds, as she gets 'lost' on her self-discovery adventure to redefine what success meant for her. Then, an untranslatable ancient Greek word changes her life: Eudaimonia. This journey led her to coin an alternative model for success: The Eudaimonia Success Model®, which she synthesised through working with hundreds of people.
Christina helps time-starved and high-achieving professionals to 'decode their Purpose'. She is the Founder of Eudaimonia Coaching UK and empowers people to realise their Potential. She is on a mission to 'democratise Human Flourishing'.

On a mission to democratise Human Flourishing, Christina draws on the wisdom of her dual Greek and Japanese heritage. "It takes courage to create a life of meaning and for me this is the 'ultimate self-expression' in a world of conflicting messages and naysayers. What drives me is enabling those who choose the daring path of seeking their purpose. She uses the Oriental and Occidental philosophies of Eudaimonia as a catalyst for their unique journeys”. In her spare time, she supports a charity for entrepreneurship, enjoys a matcha latte, a meaningful conversation and traveling around the globe to meet friends or learn something new. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Great story and model... I really like the Eudaimonia perspective and what I'll definitely remember from this presentation is that the most important thing in life is "keeping in good terms with our demons", this brings hope and hope is the first contribution to happiness. Thanks Christina!

The best story is always the honest one, where we also admit what went wrong in our past. Great presentation! Well done!

Excellent! A much broader and holistic way of defining success rather than just money, fame and wealth. Loved the model and your personal story, thanks!

Great Talk.... Would anyone know what a person or scholar of the subject of Eudaimonia would be called.

Positive Psychologist - they focus on human strengths, flourishing, and the idea eudaomonia is often used. You can find it in philosophy as well - Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics.

I would say there is a poor understanding of the concept “status” here.
If done correctly, status can be a fantastic indicator of your influence and impact within your community, among other.
Can Status be hijacked? It can, but let’s not throw the baby with the bath water as always please…
