It’s takes a good amount of pulling but they will pop out! It’s best to put the pry bar at the back and have someone pull while one is prying! Watch our video there may be footage of us pulling these out.
So I have a question, I got the same car every time I put it in drive I hear a loud grinding noise when I try to accelerate and then it takes a while for the car to move up is that due to the cv axle or something else ?
I’m sorry it’s taken so long to reply! Usually that’s a Bearing issue but could be the CV if it’s pretty Rusty of damaged but you’d feel the car be less powerful if it’s the CV axles usually popping and clicking and weird noises like that
How easy, or difficult is it to remove the CV axle from the transmission? Does it slide out THAT easy?!
Some slide out easy other you have to beat out with a Mallet
You didn’t show how to get the old one out which is what I was interested in! 20:15
Pry bar pull and pry and it will slide out!
hey the cv shaft/axel wont come out, any suggestions? been using a flat bar and a pry bar and no luck :/
