    So sick. This is a bucket list item. Along with a real F-16 I found for sale.
    Gonna cost somewhere around $45M for purchase, and another $10M for training and everything else. But I'll get there one day.

    A virtual gsuit would be cool you can’t feel the forces but the suit could air up when you pull G‘s

      @@future1751you can’t just “enlist” and become a fighter pilot. 75% of the general public would wash out of the training and even more would never even qualify to begin with.
      You need to be an officer, have a 4 year degree, be in perfect health, have some degree of g tolerance (much much harder than people think), have the literal intelligence to learn the mechanics of flight (there’s a lot more math and on the fly calculations being done), etc etc.
      For most people, sims are a way to live a dream they for some reason couldn’t do. I’d wager a lot of people who love flying would fly if they had the means and ability.

      A lesson most people forgot, if you can’t afford nice things, you have to learn to make them.

      @neoengresssimulations8659  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We've tested dogfight with Pimax. For someone already flying in VR, having a cockpit around him only adds to the accessibility to the various controls in the cockpit. With the 1st generation cockpit shown in this very video, the layout of the controls on the flat MIP and on the vertical panels on both sides require certain amount of offset because they don't feel like in the exact same spot as shown in VR, since you can't see the physical controls, it get's a bit counterintuitive and hinders the game play to some extent. We're preparing to make another video with our 3rd generation which has much more realistic geometries and feels much more intuitive.

      We ship worldwide, most regions are covered. You may send us your shipping address by mail so we can request quotes from shipping companies to your location. Width of the footprint is more like 42", full metal construct makes it slick. Length varies depending on the specs. Manuals are available for all customers. Setup is pretty simple, all the internal wiring is already taken care of, only major power and data cables are unplugged before shipping. Restore them after bolting the modules together, install and set up the software and you're good to fly.

    • @neoengresssimulations8659
      @neoengresssimulations8659  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s about time someone pointed out, I’m glad you saw that. With a screen as the visual system, there’s no way to keep the scenery centered while using the head movement to pan around the HMD sight. At least TrackIR doesn’t work like that at the moment, even if it did, without a dome or a curved projection screen, the total field of view is limited. This is the inherent problem with conventional display systems. Switching to VR enables the HMD capability, but you won’t be able to see the physical pit directly. The latest (3rd generation) cockpits are built to match the geometries of the virtual in-game cockpit so after proper alignment it’s easy to develop muscle memory even while wearing the headset, but MR/XR would solve the issue for good.
