JimmyLikes has been competing in extreme sports since a kid right here in Florida. With his past in dirt bikes and Wakeboarding, Jimmy's transition to mega truck racing with Steamboat came naturally. He gives you tips on how to get into this sport for a beginner and lets you know tips and tricks on what they do to win races. After his time on Discovery Channel in Dirty Mudder Truckers, Jimmy came to the realization that documenting and sharing his journey through this race series would be the best way to give back to this community.
Originally raced by Ken Brewer, Steamboat is one of the fastest and best all-around handling Mega Trucks out right now. Built on a custom one-off chassis with an offset motor and a rear trailing arm suspension, this truck is like no other. With its massive PAR motor built in South Carolina, steamboat glides over any mud or jumps at every race. We switched the truck over to carbonated from the alcohol injection that was on previously. Between that new set up and how the nitrous system is working with it, this truck is an absolute monster off the line. Because of all the power to the wheel Jimmy had to find a way to transfer that to the track. These massive tractor tires did just that. The combination of great traction and plenty of power makes for a fun ride.
