I've been using this backpack as a rear fender while mountain biking for the past two years and zero complaints except for the lack of waist strap but I added that myself. Also pretty good for hauling my gear around.
I was part of the built team led by the bearded man in the beginning. Almost everything was made on the place with handheld tools. We gathered every now and then to build it for a day and then go to sauna and grab few cold ones. It was definitely the most interesting project I have worked in.
@@Kodaiva It is far from shoddy. The beams are 20cm by 30cm laminated wood. The frame is held together with 24mm bolts (lots of them) and the reinforcements are made from 8mm thick steel. All ropes are custom made by a professional rope maker. The whole thing weights several tons and it has been launched dozens of times.
This is the proper way to deliver firewood for your campfire, always be sure to have your trebuchet with you or else the firewood will not move to your campsite easily
@@adelonmachina792 they have fixed it... with Kahakka 15L and Kahakka 25L. And I guess you can buy pads/straps as accessories from their store, or replace the straps with whatever you like.
Make a clamshell-opening backpack and I'll buy it. I cannot stand having to reach all the way down into a backpack to get something, and not being able to see everything I packed the moment I open the bag...
Brother the backpack is like 15L you're not packing much into it. I have the M version which is double that at 30 and it has a side zipper where you can then open the whole backpack
I don't doubt that it was the same bag he catapulted and the bag he was checking out but there's no proof of it that it was, just saying.... Nice clip though 👍🏻
There's no proof to be had in any case, unless you get a test result from a certified laboratory. Although I doubt any laboratory in the world does trebuchet tests of any sort. If you saw the experiment with your own eyes, you could believe it, but even your friend, who wasn't there personally, couldn't anymore be sure, no matter what you told him/her. That being said, Savotta does have its own (good) reputation to maintain, including the good-enough-for-military one. So, in fact this test, as humorous as it's intended to be, is actually useful for them internally as well. If the pack had been broken, they would have, for sure, tried to figure out why and how to fix it in future designs.
Every time I go hiking one of my friends decides to trebuchet my gear across a field. I need this.
You need new enemies.
It is actually a BETTER pack in real life!
Ah, finally some relevant test regarding my every day usage.
I only do it now and then but nice to know it holds up

I am glad to know that if I am catapulted my backpack will resist to the shock ^^ More seriously, many thanks for your product quality ;)
Does Savotta make trebuchets too, or is that from IKEA ?
I think it’s from Walmart it looks kinda shoddy

That is Finnish Special Forces trebuchets you're knocking, buddy! :D
Ah, that's how to get firewood across a river dry

If my backpack isn't trebuchet approved it is not my backpack
Just bought a Jääkäri M! Beyond excited.
the best way to transport firewood!
But how many Jääkäri S do you need to stop a .50 cal?
guys thank you!
based on your commercials I become happy owner of the Jääkäri S and few accessories!
You should offer 3 piece sets, Jääkäri Mini, M and L, that would make it one stop shopping :-)
I'll trust the skillful craftsmanship of the fins for my camping gear
One Day, I may find a discount and then I am finally going to have a trebuchet approved backback.
Testatkaa uusi Kahakka reppu samalla tavalla niin saadaan vertailu kestävyydestä😁
Markkinointipuolelta kuultua on että... jotain on suunnitteilla! Saas nähdä vaan että mimmoista.
My next Hiking and Bushcraft Backpack. 🎒 Greetings from Central Italy.
Have this and the M in black. The shoulder straps I find a little too thin thus I bought Teo maxpedittion shoulder stap pads whixh work so well
How waterproof is the backpack?
@@gabrielalbeldaochoa8234 water resistant but not waterproof.
I agree, is not humanism, the strap is the big problem for they, i think. So you get revision savotta

did you just trebuchet a runescape inventory?
How much is the trebuchet?
does the catapult come with it or is it sold separately?
"Are your backpacks trebuchet rated?"
Osprey: "What?"
*mumbles*
How beautiful.

Trebuchet not included. Some assembly required.
maybe funny. but meanwhile Best tested backpack in history👍🤝👨🎓🧑🏫🧑🔧🧑💻🕵♂️🤣
😁😁😁
Just don't step on the plastic buckles...
shoot the backpack and see how well it defends itself
i believe if u just put the wood in a trash bag it would stay together still lol
thats why savotta is expensive
they use our money to buy trebuchet
