Thank you for the guide. Also, freedoom works as doom 2 copy, when drag/dropping select phase 2 which will play doom2 version.

the myhouse download portion isnt downloading... it opens in notepad with a ton of cryptic messages and it doesnt do anything...

is there any known way to run it without gzdoom? im having problems with my outdated machine and i think its stupid to need opengl 3.3 to run a game like doom, i cant get it updated because my machine doesnt support any further then 2.1

In the house level (the first mission) there is supposed to be a soulsphere (blue orb) that spawns on pedestal outside, but I cannot get it to spawn. I followed the download instructions to a T and have the latest version of GZDoom. Anyone else have this issue and know a fix?

So it's RUNNING but nothing is rendered right and I have no sound for guns and enemies. Literally unplayable

Some of the enemies look like space men, the shoultgun reload animation replaces it with a Duke Nukem looking shotgun in the action and the key cards ammo packs look like three bullets. Wtf is wrong with this thing. Also the chainsaw more resembles the quake 3 gauntlet
