Hey man! About to daily my miata and i had a few questions? Thinking about getting the airtekk stage 2 plus so how was the install and did you have any troubles? Also how have they kept up being used daily?
Hey! It’s been holding up for the last year and a half just fine. This was my second install on a car so it went a lot smoother/faster. No real uncommon issues, I’d just say be careful where you run your air lines and check they don’t come in contact with anything when turning lock to lock.
I drive it a few times a week, whenever my wife needs her car. It stays outside in the cold, haven’t had any real issues other than one small leak, which I should fix but it’s so minor I haven’t yet. Winter gets down to about 37 F here, any colder and I’d probably need to run antifreeze in the system during the cold months. How cold is it in winter where you are?
@@thirdgengarage i live in virginia so the weather is always changing. It hasn’t snowed here in a while, but that could always change. Winters usually stay in the 30’s. Not sure if it will snow this year, but we’ll have to see!
I think even if it doesn’t snow but gets down to freezing temp you probably want to consider adding air brake antifreeze, I only say that because I’ve heard it recommended in videos about air suspension in winter but I’ve never done it since it doesn’t stay that cold here, I’m in California.
