The comentary feels a little cringe.
I don't get it either... Based on what he said a lot more of them should have been a tie. All of the games on the switch will look better because the majority of these minigames were made on consoles that weren't HD/powerful enough so it should have been based on gameplay alone.
Some of them look substantially more better than others I guess

I think "shell shock" might've been changed because it was an actual thing that happened to people during WWI.
At least that's the best thing I can come up with.

Thanks for not putting "X, Also X", that format used to be funny but it became a cheap way for commenters to get a ton of likes. So this is a breath of fresh air.

I find the switch version to actually be a little harder to control on most games. It moves much faster and seems to float more when you jump making the kicks harder to perform on the levels that allow it. I miss the platforming minigames and think that a couple of them should have been included.
I've never really been a Mario Party guy but Superstars does look good.

Yeah, there are some confusing choices there. Omitting balancing and other features. Tidal Toss got improved 1 player effects. River Raiders lost the fun sliding animation at the end.
It felt like this list was more of a "here are Nico's preferred games" but still i thank you for your work and this was cool to see.
Yeah, tidal toss for big time improved. It has less IFrames making it harder for the 3 players to walk forward
Monty’s revenge is pretty good
By the the way in the chip shot challenge if you get a hole in one, lakitu holds a sgin saying nice, but it didn't return in the remake and top 100.
Look away remake wins in the way of the other teammates looking pissed at the one who looked the wrong way. But Yeah, why they didn’t just do heads is beyond me

almost… no GameCube boards and a huge emphasis on N64 minigames… should have more!

I think I most disagree with Balloon Burst, I really like how frantic it was on the N64 and hitting the sweet spot where you pump fast but not TOO fast to get tje best pumps was super fun. Now it just feels slow and boring to me

I only disagree with like 5 of the choices, didn’t keep track of which ones I disagreed, but I agree with everything else.
Oh, and that pizza minigame actually made me remember that Nico is called NicoBBQ, cause most of his other recent videos aren’t about junk food, or even mention them at all

Boulder balls is so much better in the reboot because you don,t fall down nearly as far than in the retro making it much more fair.
Wait, how can some game be a tie and others be better just because they look better on the switch. By that logic, there should be no ties because all the games look better on the switch.

I agree since he thinks Crazy Cutters are a FREAKIN TIE, well i beg to differ since they completely changed the shapes of all the enemies to make it a little tougher to win the minigame and they officially confirmed that you have to get the best accuracy than to cut the outside of the line now like the original, and plus Bumper Balls are no longer ties if theres more than 1 player remain now.
In Balloon Burst, the Bowser balloon was very expresive, Retro!

This game needs a massive amount of DLC. You can easily get tired of the maps and characters within days.

Classic shy guy says is more exiting. A and B made it easier to miss. So you had to keep double track.
The winner has better graphics, has Online, is more balanced and it's funnier
You should make a DLC prediction video. I hope Nintendo adds more boards such as the GameCube boards, and I would like it much more.

Piranha Pursuit is the same. You can *only* jump over the rocks and just mash the B button in both versions, and still win.
Burnstile is not the best Doom and Gloom minigame. That's Granite Getaway.
I find the Minigames good in HD and 2, 4 and 6 was my Favorite Mario Party and OMG the Minigames are real cool but i find they edit a Little bit more Minigames from MP9 and MP10 I missed even the bosses from MP9 and the Story island from MP1 but this Mario Party is good

Fun fact. Shell Shocked is the original name for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. There's a great George Carlin routine on this ever present softening of language through the years. Probably why Nintendo changed it here.

My switch froze on bumper balls (I think this is called a soft lock) right at the end of the minigame when everyone died. So I was treated to just the wind blowing and an empty stage and it stopped there

Shouldn't Chip Shot Challenge have a point for the reboot cause it's random who goes first instead of P1/The player who goes first in the board going first giving P4/The player who goes last a huge advantage?
I don't like that they ruined the cool fly guy colors in the wind-up mashing game
That's with every minigame from 1 to 5, they used to have character colors for the objects (Mario: Red, Peach: Pink, Yoshi: Green, Luigi: Dark Green or Blue, etc). However, from Mario Party 6 and onward, they changed the objects to use players colors (P1: Red (Blue in some games), P2: Blue (Red in some games), P3: Green and P4: Yellow). What makes this so unnecessary is that the others Mario spin-offs still used character colors for their karts, tennis rackets and others stuff. So, why have this changed for Mario Party?
If there is one, add the top 100 reboot :)
