When I was I kid, I remember being horrified by the slurple’s attack. I still do. The things literally grasp your head and face and suck your blood and soul out of your body like you’re a toffee. Very scary. Still dumb though 😂
There's an enemy a lot of people probably never even encountered in Super Paper Mario. You have to go out of your way to encounter this enemy and it's completely useless. During the final boss, if you use Peach and just defend for a while, the boss will use a unique attack he never normally uses. It spawns a little crowd of tiny 8-bit Luigis that die upon touching ANYTHING, including you.
1:12 they don't always act in the same and useless way; in super mario 64, they try to ram into mario and knock him backward (defeating itself in the process - even more worthless, unless it knocks mario off a cliff), and can actually hurt the player in the GALAXY games (where they are yellow & only slightly smaller than the regular goomba), 3D world, and odyssey, and some in the 3rd game can hide under brick blocks and jump around underneath them (this variation can actually hurt) 2:03 tick-tock clock has a heave-ho, and the not-many-platforms design of that level means that it can actually ruin your game 3:13 the snowballs do have the advantage of growing as they roll on the ground, and since they can damage mario upon contact in this game, the snowballs are actually more powerful (but they're still an easy challenge in mario maker 2 where they don't grow or damage) 6:23 when mario gets killed by a slurple he immediately teleports into a fallen-down position, which is weird - they could've had the potential for a terrifying death animation akin to the ones from MARIO 64 where mario lifelessly collapses in the same way he does in the "dharkon wins" ending of ULTIMATE, due to barely having enough blood left to survive 7:06 they do a terrible job of blending in with their darkened colour (without it, the eye bumps would be a just-right difficulty tell for them), and their attack pattern is just a reprise of the blockhopper 7:41 "spikes that can kill mario and friends instantly" _mario just gets damaged normally when touching the spikes_ looks like someone has been playing a lot of megaman... 7:52 when you don't have to ride them across gaps they're a unique enemy to tackle, with extra difficulty from being immune to stomps, but yeah, bowser should've probably blocked the giant ant troop from walking across the spikes and helping mario across (if bowser really wants to take down mario, he should just make the courses unbeatable) 9:24 they got a giant souped-up variation in 3D WORLD and ODYSSEY known as a ty-foo, who can actually blow mario & co off of platforms with their strong winds, often into the void or off a tall cliff! 10:06 SUPER MARIO GALAXY actually has a _dumber_ enemy in my opinion: the flipbugs can only hurt you if you're bee mario, otherwise they'll run away in fear and can't even cause damage upon contact!

It's like the Boo but a dumber version of it. Also, it doesn't matter if you had the Bee Suit on, they aren't that fast and easily defeated.

My top ten worst/weakest enemies 10: Slurple. Now, I put it this high because they can hurt you pretty fast, and annoying. 9: Micro Goomba. Nico explains it 8: Snow Spikes. Nico explains it 7: Fake Block. Honestly it was pretty annoying. 6: Eeep Cheap. Nico explains it. 5: Pipe Piranha Plant. Just, easy to avoid. It can block the wiew really good. But still. 2: Ink Piranha Plant🥈. Me, who struggles with all 1-1s : Easy? The underwater creatures are just vibing in their home, they aren't bowsers minions. So you would have a higher survival rate, you should run away from the one who is slaughtering creatures. Ant troopers aren't bowsers minions, either. They just do what they are told to do by a big queen. Foo isn't bowsers minions either. They just attack you because you destroyed their cloud eggs.
The Fake Block should also be called Fake Tanooki Mario, because it looks like the evil demonic counterpart of Tanooki Mario hiding inside of a block with his evil eyes being visible and tries to kill Mario because he thinks that he is Mario, and that the real Mario is a goomba or koopa troopa.
Or get caught in a hord of slurples Wich will not only drain you faster but makes it harder to shake them off especially when you're around other enemies like most levels they show up in. Did this guy play any of the games outside of Mario maker because most of his complaints work with Mario maker and not the other games.

In NSMB DS, a level (for a star - coin) requires you to go through a mini pipe, and then the mini goombas can kill you. :)
