Although Pro-Russia separatists have been largely driven out of Donetsk and Luhansk, they still control significant parts of eastern Ukraine. In this dispatch, VICE News correspondent Simon Ostrovsky goes hunting for separatists with Oleh Lyashko, a Ukrainian politician who placed third in the most recent presidential election. Ostrovsky embeds with Lyashko's personal security forces as they successfully track down Viktor Rybalko, a pro-Russia separatist who organized the referendum in Luhansk calling for independence and allegiance with Russia. What Lyashko does is technically illegal, but he believes that the police are not doing their job and has taken it upon himself to bring order back to eastern Ukraine.

that makes me wonder why everyone's first reaction wasn't to imediatelly google "Ukraine Neo-Nazi ethnic Russians" when Putin said it into the camera. Mistakes were made, i promise to google everything Putin says from now on. It's also not that hard. Try googling everything Trump says... noone could (or probably should) do that, but Putin says so little, i think it would just be common courtesy to give the guy like 10 minutes of our time and check what google (a US company by the way) has to say about his claims... he has nukes, so why not?

A NUCLEAR WINTER WOULD FOLLOW, AND THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT...
NATO HAS TO RESTORE BALANCE, UNDER THE ACTUAL LEADERSHIP, CHINA AND RUSSIA ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!! THEY ARE CONSTANTLY BUILDING THEIR WAR MACHINE, SO NOW NATO WILL DO IT TOO!!! LET PUTIN TRY ANYTHING WITH A NATO MEMBER... MR.BORIS I WONDER WHAT RUSSIA WOULD FEEL LIKE, IF CHINA DECIDED TO TAKE OVER SOME OF THE RUSSIAN TERRITORY IN THE BORDER OF RUSSIA WITH CHINA... They have invaded their sovereign neighbors & annexed territory on the pretext of "protecting ethnic Russians" -- echoes of Hitler's annexation of the Sudetenland.

@@Natsukashii-Records I think it is still illegal, because last time I checked, the Ukrainian Constitution didn't provision secession. The Russian Constitution is actually just like that too. It was easy for Crimea to get in; it'd be nigh impossible for them to get out should they ever want to do so (which they probably won't).
