Yes, you can. I’ve done it. First, go to your “Settings and Privacy” menu, then “Archiving and downloading.” Click that and make sure “Save live to archive” is on. Record your private livestream. After ending the stream, go to your Archive. Click “Stories archive” at the top and select “Live archive” at the bottom of the menu. You will see the livestreams that were automatically saved. Click the one you want to download and press the “Download” button in the bottom right corner. My livestream went for 40 minutes before I needed to recharge the glasses and the video I downloaded includes every second of the live.
@@gilmotier so you’re able to record longer than let’s say 30 minutes on live streams, you’re just limited by the battery? Perhaps there is a way to carry a battery pack with a wire around?

@@HealthtoBeautyNails That’s not true. I don’t know why, but I posted a long comment under this video about how to save livestreams from IG about a week ago and it never appeared here. I am not going to rewrite it all because I don’t know if this comment will even be seen, but I purchased the glasses and used them to record and download the video, which was 40 minutes long. You have to go into your settings and make sure you are automatically archiving your livestreams. Then go into your archive after the livestream ends (give it at least a few minutes to process first), find it and download it.

You have the ability to save your video offline AFTER the stream, not during. This means the stream quality relies on your signal strength for Wifi/Sim quality.
I have the same problem. I can do spotify tap and all but the glasses icon for livestream doesnt appear at all. I spoke with support and factory reseted them... still not working... help 😢 it used to work like a week ago so I dont understand.
Not interested if it only streams to facebook or instagram. If you can go live on twitch/kick/tiktok etc then it would be interesting. Limiting where you can go live is going to hurt sales.

Welcome to social and legal outcomes when people realise you are recording without permission. Potentially physical issues. Glasshole sunk Google Glass and these are no different.
A lot of states are one-party consent, meaning only one person has to consent to the recording. Also, in most States it's legal to record anyone in public spaces. Have fun being scared of the world your whole life.

@@tngui79 I read that there was a 30-minute limit too. But when I tested it, I got to almost 40 minutes before my glasses needed to be recharged.
