Also, I believe I read somewhere that they had always kinda thought that the role of Philip should be for Zac and I think they wrote it mainly for him. If you watch the original video, Hugh and the director, who had put years into making the script and the music, they knew if Hugh didn't sing that movie would probably not be greenlit, but Hugh had an emergency medical procedure and wasn't supposed to, so they brought someone else in to sing. Hugh may have gotten caught up in the moment, he may have seen the hesitency on the studio exec's part and knew the movie was not going to get greenlit, no one knows what exactly caused him to sing, but I doubt it was malice. Everything I have heard about that man, he is geniunely a very nice human being. He did bust his stitches as well, you can see at the end of the video where he is bleeding and Keala Settle comes over and tells him. Also, I believe Jeremy sang all of Hugh's songs that day, so that wasn't the only time he sang. Also, I believe I read somewhere that they had always kinda thought that the role of Philip should be for Zac and I think they wrote it mainly for him. The other auditioner's were mainly for if Zac said no. I also don't know that Jeremy and Zendaya would have had the chemistry that Zac and Zendaya did. Just my opinion.
The voice of Lucifer himself, Jeremy Jordan has the most angelic voice ever🤍
Still as heartbreaking as when i first watched it, WE LOVE YOU
Amo a este tipo.
Sing it Lucifer Morningstar!
I’m gonna be honest ur version is way better than one in the movie
I love hearing Jeremy do this and he is amazing, but are we suggesting that if Hugh hadn't started singing that the behind the scenes viral video would have gotten any attention?
That's not the point but okay
Yes, it's Jeremy Jordan. He always gets attention, for good reason.
So dam good
Make him PB on broadway Disney, you know you want to
LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I saw the sun begin to dim
And felt that winter wind blow cold
A man learns who is there for him
When the glitter fades and the walls won't hold
'Cause from then, rubble
What remains
Can only be what's true
If all was lost
There's more I gained
'Cause it led me back
To you
From now on
These eyes will not be blinded by the lights
From now on
What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight
Tonight
Let this promise in me start
Like an anthem in my heart
From now on
From now on
I drank champagne with kings and queens
The politicians praised my name
But those are someone else's dreams
The pitfalls of the man I became
For years and years
I chased their cheers
The crazy speed of always needing more
But when I stop
And see you here
I remember who all this was for
And from now on
These eyes will not be blinded by the lights
From now on
What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight
It starts tonight
And let this promise in me start
Like an anthem in my heart
From now on
From now on
From now on
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
(From now on!)
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home (Yes)
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
From now on
These eyes will not be blinded by the lights!
From now on!
What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight!
It starts tonight!
Let this promise in me start
Like an anthem in my heart
From now on
From now on
From now on
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again
From now on
From now on
Home, again, ooh, ooh
From now on
From now on
Home, again
