Robert was in various Frank Wildhorn musicals, like Jeremy was. Robert sometimes sang with Frank's ex-wife Linda Eder. Who along with Megan Hilty, are my favorite female Broadway singers. Robert was also one of the singers for the Dream Engine and Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The Dream Engine covered Jim Steinman songs. Regardless, Jeremy kicks serious butt on this songs. It is also the funniest cover of a song that I have ever seen.

Actually, it's Meatloaf lyrics, it was originally recorded in the late 80s but Celine Dion covered it in the early 90s and made it more famous. Kinda like how Whitney covered I Will Always Love You. It was originally written and sung by Dolly Parton in the 60s.

Basically, they had to do a demo for the studio but Jackman had just had surgery to remove cancer from his nose so he wasn't allowed to sing. Pasek and Paul called Jeremy to fill in. He paid out of pocket for his flight. I believe he had a cold or maybe his voice was just exhausted from rehearsing and learning everything last minute, so he botched a pretty big moment in one of the duets...was feeling pretty bummed but then as he was heading in to From Now On he thought, okay...this is my moment to redeem myself. And then....Jackman just burst in and started singing leaving Jeremy thinking....oh, nope. It's HIS moment ...okay then.

I have never seen this gorgeous man until now, and this is absolutely mesmerizing, captivating, funny, and completely out of this world at the same time. There's something about seeing people doing what they were born to do that is indescribable. Bravo Jeremy Jordan!
