    1 is the front-most rotor in the factory ignition system. It all depends on which ignitor on the distributor is wired to which coil. The ignitors are the black boxes on the distributor. The "Leading" ignitor is the one closest to the front of the trike and the "trailing" ignitor is the one pointing to the alternator. Probably just have the wires from the ignitors to the coils around the other way.
    Also for factory timing, the stud in the slot for the distributor ends up almost center but slightly to the right. As long as the distributor is stabbed correctly in relation to TDC. I'm sure you're farther along than in this video, but maybe it'll help a little.

    Hey guys when you end up building the exhaust for your rotary I heavily recommend doing some research because a rotary engine really likes a specific exhaust just like a two-stroke needs its pipe. For reference go to Angel motor sports a video titled how to make a loud RX seven exhaust that actually gains horsepower

    • @racerex340
      @racerex340 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's the least of my concerns with this cooling system. You couldn't pay me to ride that thing after it's been running for more than 3 minutes. Cracked weld = skin grafts. Sounds like the leading and trailing plugs are still reversed. So there are 2 plugs per rotor, leading is the primary and the trailing should fire a few degrees after the leading. Trailing plugs are to help direct the ignition in the direction of the rotors rotation.

    That is why you test fill and fire a new engine combination with water and not coolant.

    i can remember if you mentioned this or not, are you using the oil metering system that some of these engines came with or premixing your fuel?

    Yall should do a collab with someone who's familiar with EV mods, Rich with Rich Rebuilds is mostly familiar with Tesla, perhaps there's a closer more related youtuber that could help with the huge learning curve of custom EV. My .02 cents. Can't wait for an update on the 400 hp tank lol.
