@@scottgilmour2135 yes I use it a little bit! I haven’t learned it to it’s fullest potential but I use 3DS max and VRay and it works perfectly. Revit, AutoCAD, sketchup, enscape all run very well!

I am starting my own business in architecture. I have use MacOs only so it has been difficult to find a windows equivalent that will allow to run Autocad and normal business apps but not have noisy fans and overheating. Battery life is very important to me. Any recommendations for a windows laptop?

Finally after all these years I've found someone who reviews tech from a grown up/Working Adult point of view, and not some overly goofy and silly acting youtuber who tries to be some version of Linus.

Very helpful video Ben, thanks ❤️
I wanna ask you about something if you don't mind, I'm a 3d modeler and I'm using 3ds max and blender a lot but i also made i render visualizations on some programs like ( Vray / cycles for blender / redshift / unreal engine ... Etc) and I'm also fresh graphic designer. So the point is different type of programs with different needs, and i can't have a PC, so my purpose is a laptop helps me in this situation.
Can you help me with some choices in that situation?
Thanks a lot for your helpful videos ❤️

MSI had few ultrabooks, 14" screen 1.3-1.4 kg, with ryzen 5000 series CPU and 2 upgradable RAM slots. Now with 6000 series, its build in 16gb ram. Is there ryzen 6000 ultrabook with 64gb RAM and oled screen, around 1500 - 1700 €?

Currently at work I have the Dell G15 5511 with intel i7-12800H and Nvidia RTX 3060, this laptop randomly decides on its own when to turn on and when not. Usually disconnecting it from battery then draining whatever is left in the capacitors works out, but that's a product under warranty and I cannot afford to lose that warranty. It has had so far two changes of the motherboard, one switch of the RAM, few flashes on the BIOS and a CMOS battery change. I would not reccommend if you would prefer not to risk it. Overall I wouldn't say it is a bad laptop but I think it could be the internal dell software messing it up and this means I can't update when necessary and at the beginning it was a very fast laptop but for about an year it seems to have degraded a lot.

I'm really liking the Lenovo Legion 5 now that you've sold it here. I was previously thinking about buying the MSI - Stealth Core i9 - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 16GB RAM. what's your opinion on the MSI vs this Legion 5? I run mostly Revit 3D modeling but don't do any rendering. I also run AutoCAD as well, often running both at the same time. thank you.

BEN, can you talk about benefits of igpu 680m based on RDNA2 in 6800U and H .Does it affect Vpot performance, by how much?. What is the maximum core, igpu or Dgpu used when Vport,Rendering etc... Also effect of DDR5 ram vs DDR4 and their transfer rate 4800 vs 6400MHz in Vport performance. In apps of AutoDesk,Lumion,Enscape,D5,Intel engine, blender.Does these apps use igpu and dgpu simultaneously? Does cache memory has any advantage in Vport?

    • @lewessays

I would say it's the minimum but if you getting 3050ti would be better than 3050 but, if you can 3060 and above would be better.
If you already have one though and try to work with it and see it for yourself. Also the vram would matter anything above 6GB vram is great for 3D atleast not sure for the architecture stuff.
