I feel I must pin this and clarify myself due to some negative feedback below. I don’t claim to be a guru on these items, I do a walk through showing them in use and a full 360 view etc so if anyone is interested they can make an informed decision or discount the unit from their purchase plans, I’m not here to sell it I’m reviewing it, I’m also not going to compare it to a rival product as that’s not my job here. What I fail to understand is people in the comments complaining about how I’m doing what I’m doing, don’t like the reviews? Don’t watch, don’t want to buy this model? Don’t buy, think they are a waste of money? Don’t get one, etc etc… But I don’t work for these suppliers they ask if I’ll review one and say what I like, I never agree to recommend them I just show them. For this I get to keep them (that’s my “payment”) Have a good day 🙏
Good honest review, I’ve just bought a VDLpower 1997 wh unit very similar to to the Allpowers it’s basic no app no Bluetooth but was £800 ! Seems like a lot of bang for the buck when the big name unis are at least twice the cost, will my decision bit me on the backside ? I don’t know but I guess we’ll see ! Thanks for the review 👍🏻🇬🇧
Thank you 🙏 I suspect (guess) there’s a lot of the cheaper units that are probably the same thing inside a different case. I’m glad the honest style of review was understood by at least one person in the comments….
Now, I've been wondering if you mounted one of these on the carrier of something like the Engwe bike and connected the charger, how much you could extend the range by 🤔 now that would be an interesting experiment! I wonder if you can charge the bike whilst it's running though?
Can't be controlled via an app....like other power banks. No wonder it's affordable.. ! If you have the app you can store it in the boot, under a bed or seat...
It's getting to the end of the season, they're all going to be discontinued for black Friday, just as they were last year. The prices drop significantly when the sun don't shine.. Rick your misleading people . .you need one with an app And one that works with an alternator charger son
Your misleading due to the fact your not comparing with market leading brands that have key features that this does not. Also the price of these will drop within six weeks from now.! This is not the time to purchase these. Also these power banks are far more useful when used with an alternator charger, this model does not. I'm sorry but your opinions are not informed.. Sorry you have no procurement skills.
@muddymarvellous my “job” here is to show the unit so anyone who wants to buy one can see it and make an informed decision, I don’t think you are getting the point of my review style, I show the unit I don’t sell the unit. Some people want a cheap and cheerful that just charges up at home and then they take it away, they might top it up over the weekend using the cigarette lighter lead or a solar panel…. You’re talking more about a heavy off grid user or unit which this isn’t, we’re going to have to agree to disagree on my style of review because you obviously have a problem with me, feel free to link your TH-cam channel for me to check out.
You ain't looking at how R&H use their vehicle most of the time, are you... With no disrespect to anyone, weekenders don't need the kind of setup I have. They need to charge the thing up at home, use it over the weekend how and why they want to use it, and trust it'll get them through to going home. If necessary, they can rig a solar panel to top up. This unit ticks those boxes. If you need more facility, then, yes, there are other standalone units available, or, even, a full Lithium rig-out with Victron shizzle and gawd knows what and at gawd knows what ricing. This is cheap and cheerful, get you through a weekend kit, just as Rick describes it.

Thanks for the review.
Appreciate the comment and view!
Electrifying review Ricky...
One of these would be good to have in my works van... we only have 1000w inverters because my boss is a cheapskate lol
I saw a cameo by you too…. 🤣

We have an Allpowers and the customer service is good. We also bought an adapter cable so we can use the Jackery solar panel that we already had.
I like the AllPowers stuff, this one is basic but if that’s all you need it does a job.
Now, I've been wondering if you mounted one of these on the carrier of something like the Engwe bike and connected the charger, how much you could extend the range by 🤔 now that would be an interesting experiment! I wonder if you can charge the bike whilst it's running though?
That’s a great question…. I’m not sure if you can charge whilst you’re using but it’s worth a try….
Great review on this unit gives me everything i needed to know. I'm thinking of buying one. Could yoi tell how much it cost you please
We got sent it to review for free, the price changes occasionally so check my link in the description and see what it’s like now.
Thanks buddy

As I said it does have an app which turns on or off the AC or DC and allows monitoring of charge but that’s all

I’m misleading how? I’m not trying to sell I’m showing the item.
End of season? It’s summer and black Friday is the end of November?…

The above is aimed at @muddymarvellous by the way.
