I always loved the guitar solos. Hearing them in more naked form here I like them even more. The fuzz guitar lays the groundwork, and then the cleaner tone steps up with more high octane fretwork. Like passing the baton on in a race getting to the climax. That's the vibe I get anyway. It's very exciting. The organ stabbing 16's underneath is really effective as well.
Wow -- the drums are tuned exactly the way Dave Clark had his on 'Bit & Pieces!' Amazing how many 'deconstruction' videos there are now for many old(er) bands -- wow.
That was fun to hear. You can really tell it was recorded quickly. No concern over leakage or background noise, especially on the vocal track. Was that a little kid saying they were cold during the vocal break? Fantastic!

Boyce and Hart were inspired to write the drum fill leading into the chorus by the drum fill that leads into "Catch Us if You Can".
Interesting that all four Monkees participated in this song both vocally and musically.
Awesome 🎶
Amazing how simple that drum part is!
Love that snare tone...
Doing their best DC5 impression
Love the clearness of Mickey's vocals
