Great addition to the Cilician saga. To your question regarding the new editing style: I like the more lively edits, but some of the choices regarding the maps were a bit jarring. The modern maps didn't help portray the situation of time. The inclusion of modern maps for geographical context might be more welcome if faded into what was the medieval border situation for the subject of the video. This is also a personal preference, but I also miss the historical art depicting the subjects of the video. I understand, however, that some of the major historical figures, except for maybe someone like Saladin or in previous videos Gagik II, are hard to find if not non-existent. I also welcome the addition of humor in the edits, but it can be jarring at times from the choice of depiction, for example Mexican Vader/ Macron. Good on you for trying something new! You're kicking ass this week.
@StoicHistorian My understanding of algorithm favoring from a content creator friend of mine are the following tips: 1. To make sure to have keywords that are searched often in the description and title like "the truth about..." 2. Consistency in video upload schedule. 3. Uploading during preffered viewing times by the majority users 4. User engagement like live broadcasts or video premiers, collaboration with other channels, comment section engagement, Q&A etc. 5. Video relevancy to world events, but this has a lot to do with key searches (#1) Hope that's useful!
Completely disagree with your conclusion. Having Cilicia join with the Crusader States would have strengthened both when it all came tumbling down. Instead Cilician Armenia lasted a little longer than most but a vast shadow of what it once was, and then gone forever.
Great addition to the Cilician saga.

@@nickmat994 I appreciate the feedback, going back to the old style just wanted to see how the algorithm would pick this up
