Knights who slaughtered entire populations of cities including huge ones like Antioch and Jerusalem, knights who plundered all the way from Europe into Jerusalem including not only dozens of Orthodox towns also even many Catholic towns were worried about pilgrims getting robbed?? Just LMAO!! You can tell a biased/more appealing history, there is nothing wrong with that but i think there should be a logical limit to the amount of ridiculous bias..

They were among the fiercest European knights and this is attested by the Muslims themselves, who, although they hated them for their cruelty, admired their courage and fighting abilities, but the end of the Knights Templar was not at the hands of the Muslims, but rather at the hands of the European Christian King of France, because he did not want to repay his debts to them , what an irony of fate

Being from Portugal there are a few places known for their history in relation to secret societies such as Quinta da Regaleira or Tomar's Castle. Portucale-Portugal one of Europe's oldest countries if not the oldest along with Romania, Portuguese blood line one of if not the most unique blood lines in our world surely deserves much more respect than it has been given through out many-many years, in particular for backing the Knights Templars & for what Portugal achieved along with the Portuguese Order of Christ Templars in accelerating human evolution, not just in Europe, Africa, North & South America & parts of the Middle East but around the entire Globe, but yet nothing from Hollywood on our histories 1st & probably the most important & longest lasting (over 600 years) Global Empires not to mention 1st Global Super Powers . It would be nice to have Hollywood acknowledge this since these days many believe the history stories they see coming out of Hollywood on the big screen as truth, as on the little screen as well :)) , just my thoughts on the matter... carry on boys & girls.... by the way great upload... A question for you. I heard that Portugal was named Portugal because it was the Port of the Grail. Meaning that the holy grail was taken from the Holyland by the Templars when the Arabs overtook Jerusalem, and taken to the "Port of the Grail". Anyone else hear such a thing. It looks from these maps that Portugal was named before the Jerusalem was lost.

The Iberian Peninsula, where Portugal is located, has been inhabited for at least 30,000 years. By 700 BC, the Celts had arrived and began to settle in northern and western Portugal. Next to come were Phoenician traders who established stations along the coast. its territory has been continuously settled, invaded and fought over since prehistoric times. The territory was inhabited by the Celtic and Iberian peoples, such as the Lusitanians, the Gallaecian's, the Celtics, Tardily, and the Conii. These peoples had some commercial and cultural contact with Phoenicians, ancient Greeks and Carthaginians. It was later ruled by the Romans, followed by the invasions of Germanic peoples (most prominently, the Suebi and the Visigoths) together with the Alans, and later the Moors, who were eventually expelled during the Reconquista. Founded first as a county within the Kingdom of León in 868, the country officially gained its independence as the Kingdom of Portugal with the Treaty of Zamora in 1143.. but the Portuguese blood is much-much older than that . I've spent 40+ years trying to understand our history from many different people from different countries-cultures & have concluded that a high % of what was being taught was purposely misleading & completely false so a couple of Nations could benefit from those lies, cultures like Italians, Spaniards, French being 3 of the ones who benefited the most from it especially here in North America & all of them backed & many times financed by the Vatican in a few invasions. Yes I believe not only the Chalice , the Ark of the Covenant , Jesus thorns crown , John the Baptist skull , the Holy Lance - the Spear of Destiny , along with other important artifacts including ancient maps that indicated far away lands to the west of the Atlantic along with knowledge of ancient civilizations were brought to Portucale (what is Oporto-Gaia city today (name of Portugal seems to have existed before the Grail was brought there but maybe not if its true what Freddy Silva suggests that the Templars were in Portugal in 1111 so there is a chance that name Portugal might include the Grail hmm) , artifacts that the Vatican wanted brought to Rome , this is one more reason for the Vatican to go after the Knights Templars (not just because Templars got to popular, stronger, richer, looked up to more than the Church by the peoples, & started seeing Jesus & John the Baptist more important than God & the Church) & Portugal eventually (Portugal is still hated by the Vatican for what King Dinis did still today & Portugal harboring the Jews didn't help either) I truly believe some of these artifacts are now under the Vatican in vaults (yes the vaults exist) but which artifacts are not I don't know . No coincidence that Portugal along with the Order of Christ Templars already knew of the North American Continent way before they embarked on their Age of Discoveries around the Globe , something that has never been matched since by any other Nation .... I recommend you look up a man called Freddy Silva to get more info on the Templars especially in Portugal & the Holly Land, Freddy believes the Knights Templars were in fact in Portugal in 1111 & the proof is all over Portugal in there forts, castles & under ground chambers & tunnels the signs are in front of our faces but some have been hidden but still there,, Portugal has a very impressive & rich history not to mention a very important one to our human & Earth history, to bad Hollywood wont acknowledge this but than again the Vatican reaches far & wide still today & controls many things-Institutions including you guessed it, people .... long live the Templars & Fee Masons (as well as the great small in land mass but not in heart-bravery & courage) Nation of Portugal & its people ,.,.. Cheers & please forgive the very long comment :) . @@danherrick5785

In the Turkish historical adventure drama "Ertugrul: The Resurrection", the Turks love to portray the Templars as the principal villains especially in Season 1!
In the early part of Season 3, the main antagonist is a secret Templar disguised as an Orthodox bazaar owner
I'm a devout Catholic but in fairness to the Turks, this television 📺 show rocks! It's just a television program, not really entirely history
This drama also depicts "good" Christians who are friends of the Turks

Meaning that the holy grail was taken from the Holyland by the Templars when the Arabs overtook Jerusalem, and taken to the "Port of the Grail". Anyone else hear such a thing. Dan is not in Revelation because they went to Celtea / Celts with the Phoencians / Hiram Abiff and started the king lines that colonized the world a.k.a. the British isles a.k.a. "isles of the gentiles" which if you look up "ships of Chittim" it means "bruiser” which is the line of the serpent, the tribe of Dan is a "serpent in the path that bites the horse”. Dan judges the world along with the Vatican (false judgement / mark of the beast / persecution / obelisk worship a.k.a. male a.k.a. Sodom and Gomorra). Ephraim is not in Revelation because it is symbolic of the "10 lost tribes" or look up the 32nd degree a.k.a. the "Royal secret" you will see 9 Masonic encampments surrounding the knights of Malta (10 including Malta) which is the 10 kings reigning with the whore (the Vatican) for an hour and then eventually turning on the whore. This is the same concept of Ezekiel 28 (king of tyre / Hiram Abiff - a type of Lucifer with the 9 stoned breastplate ) - being the high priest of the knight orders of the world today.

Also, no "Kyivan" Rus in that period. Just Rus, that's the term used in historical documents. Kiev was the country's capital after Novgorod, overall a much more important city, and later on Vladimir-Suzdal was the capital too. To boil it down to one city is silly and opens up the doors for misinterpretations.

the narrative around the Christian Crusaders is they were bloodthirsty barbarians while their Islamic opponents are seen as intelligent and peaceful, Thats how you now who got the best of the fighting lol
The church didn't Christianize the north the north Germanized Christianity and there nothing like going raiding with your buds and a good ole fight to death to bring glory to your God
The army was a cosmopolitan mix of nationalities and languages that went halfway across the world. Naturally, an army in the field numbering tens of thousands of fighting men required a large number of non-combatant personnel such as baggage handlers, labourers, carpenters, cooks, and priests, while knights brought along their own personal squires and servants. The logistics alone is impressive feat for stupid barbarians, Expeditionary warfare and amphibious operations are the most difficult thing a military can do. They were outnumbered out supplied and yet they kicked ass when ass was presented. They were there to have a good ole fight and to see who could collect the most relics lol.
meanwhile, the Muslim armies were spoiling wells, rounding up livestock and destroying crops. Using their well-established communication system of staging posts spread across the region connected by trained pigeons to txt each other like middle age teen age girls sending bird messages distances of over 1500 km to gab about the movements of the scary Franks. Hey the scary Franks were just spotted close they look like they smell :/ Like gross im like totally freaking out they were just a city over i could smell them its like they dont stop to clean themselves 5 times a day savages. lol Its funny that this is still big deal to them when this is a historical blip to us. We sacked Constantinople first btw. This is just playful banter There's no need to get butt hurt about it. Bright side is you finally conquered Europe don't let the fact that your conquest. I’m not here to listen to 13min of someone just justifying one of the most corrupt organizations humanity has ever seen. I’m here to just know how mere warriors were so important to such a greater cause which is the whole crusade how only 9 knights made it this big and why they were so strong I may have zero respect for the knights templars I liked the idea itself I do like the whole idea overall but we already have true warriors who truly stuck to the cause and we’re true to the crusading part like the Teutonic order or the hospitallers the knights templars were just a bunch of liars and Pedophiles even the Muslims were less of a Pedophiles than them so stop making them look good for absolutely no reason. u either write title of the vid is talking about reasons of their disbanding and how they did them wrong or just made a vid true to that title and tell us how they were an important force in the crusade (sorry for my bad English as long as u got the point is ok) also good vid I like this channel so nothing really new when it comes to quality
