Tale of Peter Rabbit! that came with the cabin my parents brought when i was 2 years old and when they sold the cabin 40 years later it was still in the magazine rack. I read that book many times, even when i was an adult to bring back memories, i only got there like once every other year and i would look to see if that book was still in the rack, my wife would shack her head at me.
Hello from Chiang Mai! A new locker! Great! This is exactly the style of locker I like... A huge mess to search... There will be a lot of work, but a lot of "little treasures"! And who knows a big treasure in the boxes that remain to be searched... In any case a very good investment of $10
Lots of little gems...love the sterling shaker in the box of reels. At 31:48, the brown pottery is Marcrest. Oleg Casinni is "designer" crystal (NY based). At 41:15, the appeared to be a large copper penny. Those used to sell for a few dollars as a cool item, but lately, they've been appearing in coin cases for exceptionally good prices. Not sure if it a dream that they are worth more or have actually moved into collectible status.
I see a lot of potential in this unit….I belong to a $1 Auction where we run auction from Sunday -Saturday, meet on Sunday and pick up and deliver our goodies, I also trash pick and find many nice things, I sell some of what I find, sometimes I give to people who need things, especially things for kids,😎👍🏼
I have been doing this since the 80's and you are correct. I have brought way more trashy units than units with good quality high end stuff in them. trashy units you can still make money on them and usually more because the other bidders go for the quality stuff only units so they tend to get bid up to high. sometimes you can find that hidden treasure in the junky looking unit that pays the whole unit off. Easier to score when you only pay $10 for a trash unit versus $1500 for a nice looking unit. Sometimes those higher price units are harder to recover from especially when they are staged units that look nice at first but turns out to be crap when dug into.
The cheap units are fun because they are stress free. As long as you stay away from the large garbage items like trash couches and mattresses then the cheap units can pay off big.
If those ashes are a veteran you could always try to contact a service officer at your courthouse, see if he could be interred in the military cemetery. If they haven’t anyone to take them. You do have a lot of smalls in there, I really need to clear out my house! 😂

Interesting locker. You might find some gems in there. You will definitely need to do some cleaning!

That's right nothing in there over 50 bucks but plenty to add up.

Those are printer proof sheets on the baseball cards. That's wild to see. I'd love to buy those

Tea cup set sale for easy 15.-20. And up
All you need is 100 $1 items to make up the cost plus gas. Another couple 100 of the same to pay for your time. Love it
