Hello I wanted to ask a question please. I've sewn for years, and recently watched lots of videos regarding the Lutterloh kit. But so far they all show how to draw the actual pattern pieces, but no one then mentions the instructions for assembly of any of the garments. I've only used bought patterns for shirts etc but they give a list of instructions on how to assemble it. With this system, does it rely on you just having a knowledge of garment construction?
Hello @WackiWear , with some experience you will not have any problem in the construction. You can follow also instructions in the commercial patterns you already have or follow tutorials. The system is focused in the pattern, as you know when you have a pattern that really fits , is really more easy to sew. In the little patterns you will find letters to follow the construction. A-A, B-B, C-C (for example side, collar, sleeve , etc) but you need to prepare each piece before. For beginners of course you can start with something easy.
@@LutterlohSystem thank you so much for your reply. I have sewn for some years, but it will be interesting to construct garments without full step by step instructions. Like you say, if you have any sewing knowledge then they will be fairly easy to construct the patterns. I'm looking forward to trying this system. Thank you again for your help, stay safe, Richard 🙏
I don't know what system to get my bust number is 40 inches with a bra on and with out my apex is at different heights 18inches on the left side and 20 inches on the right and 42 to 44inches hips and a big belly with loose lower belly muscles at 40 Inches to 55 or 60 inches and I am 4ft.9 inches tall
Hi @charlottejones , for the top (bust contour 40 inches/ 102cm) you can use the regular system, for the hips area consider the wider part on the hips and the middle of the belly without going to high, with the regular system you can work up to 55in/ 140cms ... and you have more styles and options. Hope this answer your question.
Great explanation of the Lutterloh Pattern Making System. Thank you.
I was wondering if you have tutorials on some of your collars for Jacket. I purchased the L-System and love it.
The video explanation is excellent but the focus of the camera 📷 is not, hope you have more videos in both in English and Spanish 👍
