      Whenever there are glaring omissions, I think two things:
      1. The actor agreed to participate on the condition that they don't talk about this or that film; tired of it, or something negative attached.
      2. There may be a legal reason.

    Gotta disagree with Dreyfuss; Jaws has some great shots in it. There's an amazing long take of Sheriff Brody and the Mayor taking their cars across the water in a ferry, which turns around midway to show the other side before they dock. There's a great side on shot of Sheriff Brody running up to the water when the kid is attacked, where Brody is screaming for people to get out as he himself is afraid to go in. And there's some great foreshadowing in the shot where they sail off to catch the shark and we see the boat through the shark's jaws in Quint's window.

    I love Dreyfus but I disagree with him for Jaws. It's full of great shots, some of them famous. Like the one with a zoom in on the face of the policeman on the beach. But I agree that the story is great.

      I think because of how stressed out he was during filming and how sure he felt it was going to fail, it stuck with him all these years and created his bias towards it despite it being seem by everyone else as being great

      @Spongebrain97 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lyndoncmp5751 well yeah he doesnt want to really bad mouth the film but go watch Jaws: The Inside story which is an hour long documentary of the making of the film with the cast and crew. There several times dreyfus talks about how great an experience it was but how stressed out he was. Near the end he says how he was sure that the movie was going to fail because of how shooting days kept getting delayed and the budget was getting out of hand. After they wrapped filming he did an interview before the movie released where he tried throwing it under the bus but that it was universal's fault and not steven Spielbergs

    My son has a hearing impairment and I wear "Mr. Holland's Opus". I spent the entire time in the theater washroom during "Jaws", watched "Close Encounters of The Third Kind" a hundred times and donated a copy to the local library. If it wasn't for mom, I would have never seen "The Goodbye Girl". Without ever seeing a trailer I know "Daughter of the Wolf" is great, but I cannot go there.
