Hi Mr. Sam, I've started watching your videos a short while ago and I've become a big fan of yours. I would specially like to thank you for sharing this Vlog especially because seeing Abha after such a long time is a real delight. It has brought back so many wonderful memories of my childhood. I am from Pakistan and I was born in a city near Abha called Khamis Mushait and back in early 80's Al-Soudah and Al-Gara were the two most popular picnic spots. And at that time we could enjoy watching Airplanes take off and land from the road near the the run way. That was indeed the fav picnic spot of our family alone. :)

Your video brings back hundreds of wonderful memories.. all the sounds of takeoffs...(old airport was completely functional during T5 construction), believe me my heart use to come out when AirIndia flights comes into view...

I really enjoyed this video and the riyadh video Sam, and yeah i flew the Saudi 777 from Jeddah to KUL. One of the best flying xperiences ever, cosy economy seats, wonderful service and tasty food and gifts. I'll definitely fly Saudi again if i can.

I am so glad you went yourself to visit saudi arabia. I am Senegalese but i was born and raise in Saudi Arabia. I was born in Abha and later on lived in Dammam. It a beautiful countey that people dont really look into because of all the misconception.

@m t I personally know people who've lived there who have nothing but positive things to say and constantly comment on the large gap between perception and reality when it comes to Saudi. Hence my comments are not based solely on the vlogs.
Plus this vlog was the last of 3 parts that Sam did which included great insights into the people and culture. I think he did a great job!
