I feel the most iconic thing in this entire report is the a350 flaps sound almost to the a380 … What a rhythm it is singing .You know what I mean ❤😍 23:05 to 23:27 😍 and 10:12 to 10:21 .. Airbus has a made an amazing beauty 😍

Whenever I see a new plane in an airline fleet it's like seeing other planes pass the new plane saying "Hello! Welcome to the family!" that was the feeling I got.
Wow, what a gorgeous aircraft, even economy class must feel luxury in there! Thank you for this amazing trip report! By the end of April one of my company’s subsidiaries which is based on DXB will move to DWC. Then I will be on my first trip from Vienna to Dubai ever and my first trip with Emirates. I‘m thinking about to try the Premium Economy in their 777 on one way and Business Class on their A380 when returning (Would be my first A380 either 😄) I‘m so excited!

Australia has some very strict accessibility for airlines, so I don’t see EK replacing the A380 on any of those routes.. Perhaps they could fly the A350 to they new Sydney airport, but I doubt they will allow them extra flights.
Yay my favourite Airline reviewer is back! The legroom and the IFE on the A350 looks so good! I was waiting to see if it had bluetooth compatibility, but seems like it doesn't. BTW, as per the Emirates fleet plan, is it supplementing it's 777 fleet with the A350 for now? Or will it start replacing as soon as deliveries pick up? I can also feel Sir Clark's frustration as he waits for RR to improve the time on wing on the XWB-97 for the A35K. Would you consider making a video about airside transfers at DXB, say from Emirates to flydubai and such? Would be quite useful content.
The new IFE makes it feel like your on qatar airways, looks nice but I would choose the old emirates IFE since it is nostalgic and emirates used it for a very long time Oh yeah nice trip report man, I hope to fly the new a350 soon
The older IFE was nostalgic, but it’s about time to move on.. Everyone managed to copy iCE, some like Cathay Pacific even made it better, so it was time for another reinvention. It’s crazy good.. I would take it anytime over the classic iCE!
Those fancy tray tables look so nice! I love Emirates. The automatic bin in the lavatories, the fancy tables, the in-flight entertainment, and the meals are always on another level. They really aren’t joking when they say “Fly Better”. They are always my priority option because I believe that all economy seats should be human-friendly, and although it still needs improvements, but at least it’s the most tolerable one.. Stacking people up in tight spaces is inhuman. I just hope to see a better seat configuration in the future because if you’re sitting next to the window (which is always my choice), you have to wake two people and make them stand up TWICE in order to use the lavatory. It is inconvenient and embarrassing. They can at least make more space for people to walk without disturbing others. Imagine being in a 12 or 16-hour flight and having to go through this inconvenience over and over again or to finally sleep and have your neighbour passenger wake you up because they wanted to go peepee. Very big no no.
Excellent video! Emirates should ditch 787s & go all-in on A350s. Unfortunately they did not install First Class. There is another great feature on the plane - the window shades are electrical in all cabins & feature the ghaf tree. That being said, I will still choose the A380 over the A350 (I guess that is the reason that I have flown the A350 but not the A380). Will Eric be joining you on the next flight? What are we getting for the next video? Also, congratulations for reaching 60K!
to be honest, the emirates a350 is a good product for emirates especially when it had a fleet of boeing 777 and A380 but its a shame that they did not add first class though
Hi Alex, I am looking forward to your long-haul trip on A350. I was flying with Emirates a week ago and strongly believe that its economy lavatories with premium White Company toiletries are the best in the world. A350 is one of my favorite airliner, I like the way Emirates designed it, its on-par with QR. I also was flying with CX recentely and strong recommend them
I hope to be able to fly them long haul soon, but so far it’s just Edinburgh and nothing really takes me there.. The design is great and I wonder what they have in store on the long distance A350.. I even rate it higher than the QR A350’s. I fly those often and no way the legroom is the same, comfort and IFE.. Just the Qsuite, if you get it. CX I love!

I would love to see the new ice interface to make its way to the 777 and A380, even though I’ll miss the classic ice interface on those aircraft. It’s a sign that it’s time to move on. Probably too soon, but who knows?

Nobody offers that legroom or IFE.. The details on the walls, modern lavatories, etc.. The only thing missing would be doors in Business Class, but I’m not a fan of those.. Just for the people that want it. What else new could they install? The new iCE is crazy!

As much as I love business class on the A380, and as much as I love the flight from NYC to Dubai, I understand that most airlines are dropping the I've flown on the A350's business class with Philippine Airlines. It's a 16 Hour flight from NYC to Manila nonstop. The Future of air travel - for the foreseeable future - is THE A350 ULR. The lack of space and quiet is the A350's problem. No stand up bars, no stand up showers, no grand stair cases... You just plop down and don't move for the duration of the flight. Definitely a downgrade. THE UPGRADE however is in replacing those old business class models on the Emirates 777. When I flew to Maldives last, on business class, I hated the 2x2x2 layout. I prefer the 1x2x1 layout. The new business class is much better, but the seats are uncomfortable for laying flat (according to TRAVEL SING FLY).
I think it’s the other way round, as they make fun of some no nonsense stuff in the QR video.. Anyway, I couldn’t watch it more than once as it really annoys me.
They are a 5 star airline, they meet every criteria to become one, heck even exceed the criteria and beat MANY “5 star airlines” easily. The only reason they’re not Is because they don’t care about ScamTrax, therefore they’re not willing to pay them to get an award that would make no difference, as everyone knows they are 5 stars.
I didn’t actually forget, they were blocked. They have to be blocked for take off and landing but I guess they forgot to release them, which is totally normal as for almost each cabin crew it was the first flight on the plane.

I can agree on the "worlds best airline" part. Ive flown Qatar Airways many times before and nothing compares to the luxury and service of Emirates.

Not all destinations require First Class, many have almost nil demand for it, so they do need aircraft without the product, so I undersand!

It is hard spotting at dxb, but the terminal is so excellent and beautiful so I let it slide. I’m glad emirates chose the 32’ seat pitch for economy.

Emirates needs to put these seats on the 777-200LR’s and A380s! Those screens are HUGE!
I think the -200LR are on their way out and the A380’s with the refreshed cabins are very similar..
