I’ve been watching your channel for about a year and should have left a comment sooner. I can’t tell you how much you have changed my life. I searched TH-cam one day looking for inspiration as a homemaker and your video was the first to come up. Watching you has made me realize that every homemaker can struggle with our job on occasion. You showed me the best thing to do is slow down and take a minute to listen to ourselves and then get up and keep going. Yes I do that too and is really effective. I also use it on curtain rails if they catching on the curtains.

Aww Kay!! You’re bringing back lovely memories! For my 1st baby, I too bought second hand and it was a mamas & papas pram/buggy!! It was navy with tiny white polka dots and I loved it so much! Many other mums were buying or being gifted new ones, but I was in love with mine and it didn’t break the bank. You use them for such a relatively short time, and there’s so many other things to buy - great to see you do this and encourage other mums to do the same! My 1st ‘baby’ is now 25, and I still remember where I got her pram from! We used it for my son too. Much love to you ❤
I was also due November and I washed all our babies clothes in the summer, I didn’t know the gender so I didn’t have lots but all the vests bodysuits etc and it was so good to get them washed and hung outside to dry! I had a slight storage issue too, but honestly baby clothes are so small they’ll fit better than you think 😅!! Love little boys blind it’s so cute! ❤
Just to add this to I meant to say about the drawers I had mamas and papas drawers and the ikea dividers worked well in them; she’s almost 3 and I still actually use them because I love it being all organised ha ❤
Love all the baby purchases. Takes me back - my first baby had a lovely second hand pram but when it came to buying her a pram for her new baby we went all out and got her one of the best prams of the day. But really it’s so much fun to buy second hand or to have things handed down which is even more lovely. It’s such a lovely time preparing for your first born. Also the food looks delicious 🥰

I bought a brand new M&P pliko pramette 14 years ago for my youngest and really wished I hadn’t. The car seat weighed an absolute tonne and because I’d paid so much for it I struggled on. Whoever designed them to be so heavy were definitely not thinking about stressed postpartum people! I’m sure they must have made them a bit more user friendly by now. If I had bought second hand I would definitely have felt more able to abandon it and buy something else x
Really enjoyed watching your video and have subscribed to your channel. Your approach to buying baby stuff is to be admired, I had no idea prams were so expensive. What infuriates me is that companies Mamas & Papas for one "gift" loads of things to the big instagram channels who could well afford to pay themselves making the influencers totally unrelatable to their audience where as your pregnancy journey is in the real world.
