I actually keep forgetting to say that I really love the music you put on. It’s so lovely and appropriate to your vlogs - never too loud either and is just a perfect compliment to your filming. 🥰

We love coming along with your 'ordinary day'. Don't feel bad about sharing baby stuff, I just like to see you excited and it's nice to see someone else's life going well, even if mine isn't, hehe

Have to ask, does anyone else automatically hit the 👍🏽 before you even begin watching, because you just know?🤗♥️🙏🏽! Thank you for spending the day with us and for making me add hotdogs to my next grocery order 😂! PS the garden looks amazing and yes, I teared up when you were giving Squiggey a belly rub 🥹

❤Thanks so much for sharing your day with me! Always enjoy your vlogs, no matter what’s happening 😊 The blind for his room is ADORABLE and the clothes………🥰 You might try double-sided tape to help out with the buttons, it’s not permanent and removes easily. Your baby belly is beautiful and reminded me of the joy of carrying a little one (I’m a Grandma now, so it was nice to reminisce!) Sending you lots of love & hugs 🥰🙏🏻❤️❌⭕️🤗🤰🏻

If you have any old bras use the hooks and eyes In between the buttons on your play suit. When you’re home you don’t need to fasten for easy access but if you need to leave you have the option to hook everything shut. Works a treat for my work shirts.

Try small safety pins in between the buttons on the playsuit. It helps keep the material together so that there's less pressure on the buttons. They won't show if you only clip the back of the front material if that makes sense. You can always take them out in future.

I was just about to say the same thing. Use safety pins. I am also big busted and use pins in most of my dresses. It does work. ❤

What a peaceful video! Don’t feel bad mentioning baby stuff, it’s what you have happening in your life right now! For the button up dress, pop a safety pin in! That’s what I do on some of my dresses, especially easy when there’s the extra fabric just down the strip of buttons. You could also try a crop top type bra instead of a regular one so if it DOES pop open it will just look like a regular top underneath!

Kay, you could try fashion tape for the gaping between the buttons. It's a little piece of double sided tape that you can use to keep it closed but that is okay to use on fabric.

You can stitch thin strips of Velcro under the buttons of your tops. I took all the buttons off, stitched the Velcro on then reattached the buttons and snipped the button holes open again. Belt and braces approach so if one fails you have a backup. Or go for the easy option and buy some pretty bralet/cropped vest tops that stretch and leave the buttons open. Really enjoying the calm and slow living videos, thank you xxx

Hi Kay, I have a few tips for your button down jumsuit if it's not too hot you could wear a singlet top underneath or buy some hollywood tape which is for holding fabric in place or you could stitch a little snap in the gap to hold your top in place. Great video, and I'm excited about your pregnancy.

Kay if you just put a few small stitches into it you will be able to remove them once your little man is here. I had the same issue with my two pregnancies. Asda do some good maternity wear and Sainsburys. Great quality and not too expensive xx

Hey Kay, I’d definitely recommend the H&M maternity jeans which have a loose leggings like belly band that goes right OVER bump! No one wants anything cutting in! You’ll never want to go back to old jeans once babe arrives too! So comfy! Haha xx lovely video as always and congratulations!

Thank you, In the end I used some hem tape to close the gaps permanently and a safety pin at the top button so I can still get it on and off and it’s helped 🥳

I uses to have an itchy belly myself😣. I used a special oil for pregnancy, which i put on every day. That did help to sooth the problem😊. I know what that feels like,it's terrible.
That botton problem....I had that too, some years ago,not during my pregnancies though as i had maternity clothes and they helped me alot😊 . I sewed a push button between the buttons on the dress or top, that helps alot and noone can see that extra button😁...
Can't you get maternity clothes? I had trousers and skirts that had soft material going across that babybump, that was very comfortable. That was no special brand, just maternity clothes. I also had dungarees, for pregnancy.. I tell you, they were my favourite clothes to wear. So comfy😊👶for everyone(me and the baby). I wore them very often,as they were very, very comfy.

Maybe a safety pin for your button issue? That way it's not permanent?

Just an observation and I’m sure you already know but baby clothes size doesn’t always match up to age. My son was a chunky monkey and tall and at 4 months was wearing 12 months size clothes. You may need those sizes sooner than you think 😊. I always call an unborn baby a nickname and it usually sticks after they are born. I love that you refer to him as squidge or little man, they are adorable nicknames. 💙

Hi Kay! I think shirred tops & shirred dresses will be your best friend. Comfortable, great coverage and easy for breast feeding.
For the buttons on the shirts, maybe hand sewing some Velcro in between the buttons might be your best bet ❤

When you order bubble you can ask for 'no toppings' which means the little pears at the bottom aren't added.

I tried one of those mango bubble teas for the first time a few weeks ago . They’re refreshing but super sweet 😂 mind you when you’re pregnant sweet stuff is soooooooo good 😋
I got something called pupps rash at the end of my pregnancy and it was awful nothing would relieve the itching. 😩
We’re the same with music. We listen to a lot of Disney and my son loves it 😂
    I love the blind!! It’s adorable 🥰

I use lingerie/body tape between buttons to keep them from popping open!
I relate on the frustration of nowhere doing maternity closed in person, I spent 5 hours in the metro center in gateshead today and not a single store had a maternity section apart from primark who had two Tiny rails, and the jeans were all small and xsmall! I just want stretchy leggings and jeans 🙈 xx

You are such a natural beauty. You don’t need make up 😉. You deserve comfy clothes. Maybe tank top t-shirt dresses would work. They stretch, won’t show cleavage and would be nursing friendly too. If they are too short try finding maternity bike shorts for under. Invest in this stuff. Your body and mind will thank you. Now is the time for you to pamper yourself and be as comfortable as possible. I totally am down for a baby clothes show 😂😂

  • @delilahmertoglu

The dress is cute and seems very comfortable- maybe you could try just wearing a sports bra type of thing underneath so that if the button does pop open, it's not as mortifying? I don't know. It's so fun to see moms get excited about baby preparations! Be aware that kid's sizing varies massively from brand to brand and those clothes you're going to vacuum seal may even be grown out of before your little boy gets a chance to wear them! That happened to me with my daughter and it was so sad when I would try something on for the first time thinking she had finally grown into it and she had actually grown OUT of it :(
