Both games have problems. To be honest, these are facts.
I will never understand why a fighting game player would prefer for everything to be aggressive and random instead of calculating and technical.
Ask that to dbf players or your typical anime players..But again false statement you don't understand how to attack or what's happening so it's random to you..When you have the knowledge I have 30 years..Plus being a guy that likes to play aggressive.Its not random at all same rules apply..You just need to learn how to read your opponent..Every game before Tekken 8 anybody could just mash.Did you say this Tekken game sucks because this guy is randomly mashing and I don't get it?Tekken was literally play like a sissy and win..It was all defense wins less interactions..Attack has no hope because he has to chase down the guy kbd all day..That's not calculated that's abusing the system..And forcing guy like me to play slow and never attack. KBD all day and just waiting for a opportunity that's extremely fing boring..I literally was saved when my main returned lei wulong..Because I could be passive and attack somewhat because many where clueless to him.Secondly when I had to play like a sissy I could entertain myself by laying down,ha ha step,Drunken stance I can do a bunch of things to not focus on the boring pace of the game of my opponent not actually wanting to to attack.Some of us like fighting in a fighting game and not being rewarded for running away

Tekken 8 has too many “help me!” mechanics. Heat is broken, almost every move has tracking on it, etc.
tekken 7 is just as good as tekken 8.. i enjoy the roster more in tekken 7 dats why i like it a bit more..t8 has too many issues competitive wise but thats expected and i know they gonna balance it asap
tekken is cool and all but u gotta hop on that DRAGONBALL SPARKING ZERO ASAP!! its the GAME OF THE YEAR IMO!!! simply amazing! and challenging but for all the right reasons!! very enjoyable beautiful game

Everybody is complaining about their main game 😂. Arslan Ash (current Tekken GOAT) and Knee (GOAT prior to Arslan) complained about the game. Everybody is/was upset at how offense heavy it is as opposed to T7. Same happening over in SF6 with the Drive system. We already know what's happening with MK1. People will always complain about the new game, just the way it is.
It doesnt have tag 2's frustration level, but its very very close, and theres things that werent 100% before they started trying to shake us down for money
8 is just way too brokenly offensive, its still fun but trying to rank up and take the game seriously?…NO. I take MK1 more seriously than T8
The point that rip made is probably the most crucial. If you go back to the v1 arcade version of tekken 7 (you can emulate that on pc even) , its dogshit. Its utter garbage compared to the later versions of tekken 7 . But the world audience is not used to that , only asia had mainstream arcade releases of these versions. They refined tekken 7 for 2 years to end up with the console release… so in terms of gameplay they should be allowed to have their time. SF V also was a complete disaster on launch not only content wise, ALSO gameplay wise, that game was ASSSSS and it got really good. The monetizing of the game is horrible tho.

I been playing since tekken 1 for me tekken 8 is the most fun
The community just tried to get pissy because they wanted balance changes and didn’t get them so they passive aggressively are bitchin about a stage when they really wanna cry about the balance issues.
