Thank you all so much for the support in the comment section. I am very blessed to have such a kind audience. I do want to make it clear that I won't be abandoning tree work entirely. I'll still have tree work content to share and the thumbnails will still have the good old black and white letters you'll recognize 😅 There just might be an excavator video or two to help fill in the gaps.

  • @jeremyj612

Hahaha…you had me for a minute. I was thinking you’re usually so much more cautious than that. Excited for the changes and hope you get a lot on video. Been thinking of adding a mini to my tractor business eventually. I learn a lot from you guys that pull the trigger.

  • @ericgansauer708

Sorry to see you stepping away from tree work. Your content was good and you always worked safely.

  • @justinsnyder6256

Definitely going to watch the excavating work.

  • @geoffreygreen297

I like the name of the channel and the story behind it. But you can do what you want. Have a blessed day.

Keep up the strong work no matter what you do! Your tree videos stand out by your calm, matter of fact and clear narration of what your doing and why.

  • @awac4577

Whoa! You got me on this one. I thought "Wow, ole Zach seems to have gotten a lot bolder than I remember". Hey, good job, once again. I wish you well in your new endeavors. I look forward to excavation videos. Watching people digging, climbing and cutting is kinda mesmerizing to me. Thank you for showing us your work.

love the sentiment in the video. I have been feeling a slight tug to learn a new trade or business. not to turn away from tree work but to mix it up and not have to make it all the way to the moon just on tree work. good stuff man. happy for ya, brother!

  • @zachdecou

Story time: Had a customer several years back- excavator company charged with removing trees and old lake house to prep for new construction. Part of our job was to cut the trees into pieces that the track hoe could load into a roll off. One tree was on a cliff face behind the house to be removed. The contractor gave me permission to drop the tree on the house, which I was excited to do. It was probably 36” or so. I dropped that sucker on the house and plowed a trough down the middle of the structure. High-fives were had by all… until I had to go in there and cut it into pieces. There was so much rebar and broken glass and twisted metal and rusty nails that I swore I wouldn’t do it again. I could’ve landed in the hospital for that stunt.

  • @EJGentleman

Can't wait to see the changes and future videos. Congratulations on the growth and changes.

  • @andrehak

Hahahaha well played sir. Thanks for all the shares and adventures, and Godspeed with your future endeavours!

  • @Darrell_Wilson

Very good content ! You almost got me but i was thinking about the question mark after " The biggest failure of my career?" I also have watched you work in the trees and was sure you knew that face cut wouldn't swing that big limb enough to miss that carport . Glad you will still be making tree cutting videos. I enjoy all of them !

  • @Kevin.L_

I feel lucky that you shared your tree career with us. Hate to see do less tree work, but you need to follow your own path.

  • @br-dj2ti

Go big or go home right but sometimes go big will get you killed or hurt you know I love your channel man been a subscriber. almost day one sad to see you put tree work behind you but hey, you got to do what’s right for you and your life and what makes you happy and what makes you money God bless Zack. I hope everything works out. I’ll be praying for you buddy.

  • @warren6790

I just found your content, the title drew me, I'm not a arborist but been climbing a few years now, only wished I could have started younger, just took down a 100ft white oak and had to rig all of it down, it was between two buildings and no way to drop it, I really have enjoyed watching your video's, the confidence you have is amazing and your ability to teach others is also great, knowledge is the key to everything, running a business has it's rewards but sometimes the stress is not worth it, I hope you continue to make video's

  • @SpencerLawnCare

Love the video! Enjoyed every second of it. 💪🏼

  • @iduswelton9567

  • @rickstafford5316

Hate to hear you’re stepping back from the trees. Glad you’re finding a different path. Happy for you and as always, stay safe.
