Great tips where is your PPE ? I always wear long pants sweats, long shirt, rubber gloves and mask. Soon as I am finish I wash my clothes and shower! I did use the Tenacity only and Weed be Gone for spot spraying separately. The best ever results for me with less exposure to me is The Andersons 0.48% Barricade on DG Pro granule for cool season. I watched hours of videos like yours learned a lot and did the soil test. It took me 4 years as a noob to have a green weed free lawn. The lawn services are BS which I had in the passed.
This is the first video of yours I've seen. My grass is a huge mess. I live in the country and am surrounded by weeds, so it's a constant battle😂 Idk what kind of grass you have, but i live in Colorado and have Kentucky bluegrass. Will these things work on it?
Glad to know I'm not the only one who had to buy a harbor freight sprayer lol. I wasn't spending $80 + at lowes or ace and tractor supply stopped carrying them because the season is over? It's 80 degrees in NC now but whatever
Just found ur channel n subscribed, question what would b the measurements for a blanket spraying. My front n back yard r full of weeds that I can't even mention their names. I live in Florida n is getting cool, is it alright to use these mixtures?? Pls let me know thank u
I just found out about speed zone and tenacity and went ahead and bought it all and applied 1 day ago. Now I see this video and find out about Quinchlorac. I hope that is nothing I can do without for now. I am in Ohio battling spurge and crab grass and have taken on the challenge to go full in and see what happens. I will wait a week and see what happens before reapplying. I figure I will apply them separately since it's not the entire lawn that has the problem. That Spurge is a tough weed to kill. I have just had enough of the Land Art guys with their spray truck showing up and poor results. Finally had enough and went this route. I also bought a Sun Joe thatcher for good luck. I came across this horrible grass in large spots that is so thin and fine that is all matted down . Did some research and find out it must be Fine Fescue grass. If I thatch heavily I can thin it out and sow in some better grass like blue grass or tall fescue.
Was hoping to see a response here. I'm in northwest Ohio so we have similar weather and we're about to be taking on the same tasks. Did a test spot in the back corner of the yard last Friday with just the tenacity along with surfactant and die and its kicking ass. Plan to do the entire yard tomorrow in preparation of a labor day weekend overhaul. Didn't put anything at all down in the spring and the clover, dandelions, crabgrass, and others took over the yard. Newbie to the lawn game but I'm gonna make it my bitch via TH-cam lol.
@@earlsterling3410 Sounds like you're going to have great success. I'm in Sylvania and it is day 2 after I sprayed Tenacity and SpeedZone together. Some of the Spurge and other odd weeds are showing signs of dying but not the dreaded crabgrass. I'll wait another week to know for sure. I didn't use the dye marker and it was tough and ordered some for next time. I'm in too deep and looked at this dumpster fire of a lawn too long to give up.
Just found your channel and subscribed. I'm planning a first time ever fall overseed in my backyard so many of your videos are very helpful. Right now there are a lot of weeds that need to be killed before the overseed. Primarily crabgrass, clover and knotweed and sounds like this cocktail should take care of all of them. I'm in northern Illinois and the temps are really hot so wondering if I can spray now without harming the good grass knowing I need to do the overseed around September 1. Appreciate your thoughts and hope to see a new video soon.
And pants! Consider eye protection as well. Heck I wear a respirator when spraying Tenacity. That stuff is lethal. Warns of acute organ failure. Take no chances.
Really? Do you not read the label? The label is the law! Your not wearing gloves, long sleeves, or pants! Also you don’t add chemicals to a empty sprayer. Please don’t make videos of the wrong way to do this and put people in danger thinking you know what your doing. And yes there is real danger here. Come on man!🤦🏼♂️
Great vid! Just a suggestion...maybe be fully covered (pants/long sleeves) when spraying, and maybe wear a mask so not to ingest Thank u for ur service!
Should really announce that certain herbs, only for certain grass types also herbicides have a shelf life , & never stick your hose end into your backpack contaminants it does happen just saying 🥹
What do you use to control weeds in your lawn? Be sure to watch my recent video on fertilizing your garden! th-cam.com/video/1HOTQo8gnFA/w-d-xo.html
Is surfactant needed since speed zone has in there already?
How is that sprayer holding up after all this time?
Thank you! God bless you and your family!!!

Sedgehammer is what you want to use.

Try to avoid spraying in the peak of summer or in really hot days. If you do spray I would just spot spray
Lawn enforcement officer… too rich… do you know why I stopped you?
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Word of advice, speedzone advices to not add surfactant since speedzone already has it. It can actually damage your lawn if you keep doing this
Who you gonna call? Weed busters!
I ain’t afraid of no weeds!
This doesn’t work for southern lawns like Bermuda grass.
True. I’m a northern guy!
Gloves bro...!

Don't be a dingus, wear pants and don't get that crap on your skin. Thanks for the tips otherwise!
And Monsanto is the enemy. People at work, not wearing PPE or following directions. I got sick, it's Monsanto's fault though.
Lol 😂 soooo true!
