I paid a dealership to diagnose my car and they've informed me the exhaust shut off flap is in short circuit. They wanted 600 quid to replace the valve itself but I'm fearing a wiring problem (like here). It's intermittent and the valve looks good as new, also I'm getting numerous warnings on the dash. I watched your vid hoping to see the valve could indeed be in short circuit.
The same valve on my Audi a6 with the same engine as this is squeaking when I drive the car and it changes gear up or down or when I rev the car dont no what to do with it , it's definitely this valve put my hand on it and got someone to rev the car you can't get at the inside to clean it
Hi can you help where you pointed to there turbo actuatorion, what does this do I bought audi a6 and I heard noise from exhaust and this has actuator going up and down can you tell me please would be much appreciated
Hi! I have only 1 problem in engine - Like P047F00, but its only 1 problem with Stuck open. Its can be exhaust gas pressure sensor or i must to check V like you?
Oh wow. Very far :(. Could you reccomend what I advise my mechanic to check with ‘exhaust pressure control valve ‘b’ faults on RS5 B9. It’s putting car in limp mode. Driving me mad!! Thanks
@Mo Benhamou Ace Maintenance did you get this sorted? I have same car with same issue, turned out the connector on rear exhaust actuators were corroded 😢

Nailed it Sirs...and made it nice and red. Was an exciting troubleshooting vid, thanks for that!
Looked to have can communications lines also at the motor ( twisted pair )...great work sandy enjoyed the video ...👍

What is the actual function of this valve? I have it on my car (passat b8, 2015 (en288) DDAA, but I don't get the point of it.
Is there a leak on the adblue tank ?

Problem could be Clyde 1, move to Forth 1, that should sort it 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@sandyande I wouldn't say expert sandy but I have seen those wires corrode in that area a few times buddy. No hassle just get it from dave
