Audi A4 P048B00 Fault code : Exhaust Pressure Control Valve Fault on Audi A4 2.0 tdi (2018) :

We have for you an Audi A4 2018 plate 2 litre tdi. Which had the engine light flashing on the dash.
After a quick code scan we found the below fault codes thrown out by the ecu:
P200200- Particulate trap bank 1 - efficiency below threshold.
P040100 - EGR floe insufficient detected.
P048B00 - Exhaust pressure control valve position sensor / switch circuit.
We erased the faults and took the vehicle for a test drive and within couple minutes engine management light had come back on. Did another code scan and the only fault showing this time was,
P048B00 - Exhaust pressure control valve position sensor / switch circuit.
As a precaution we decided to inspect the egr valve, which appeared to be very clean for the mileage.
The exhaust pressure valve is located next to the dpf under the car. Very easily accessible. This can be replaced by yourself couple of nuts and bolts nothing too complicated
