  • In this video we begin our travels through the Philippines in the city of Puerto Princesa on the island of Palawan. We show our accommodation, visit a local brewery and eat local. We walk around the town visiting the Cathedral and the site of the Palawan Massacre that took place in WW2 when US prisoners of war were executed by the Japanese. We also visit the local cultural museum, view some rare animals, visit an indigenous village, handle snakes and go to see the huge salt water crocodiles. Come join us on our adventure!!

I don't understand why the Puerto Princesa government don't try to improve these places. I just can't understand how it looks so much worse than when I left it 15 years ago. Surely with influx of tourism, and boom in the economy, money would be fllowing but I guess we can all imagine where it's all flowing into... the greedy politicians' pockets. Place looks run down. I'm glad you two are able to focus on the positives! You two are beautiful people.
