Hey @henryskinner1092 Thanks so much for that! I know, it is a massive space compared to where I was a few years ago. Now to keep it tidy is the challenge lol! Thanks for stopping in and I appreciate your comment! Cheers Paul
Great set up with plenty of light. Well I’m caught up on all your content and you’ve given me a lot of great ideas. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next. Cheers
You and me both lol. I just came back from the city hall here in Campbell River with our new "Hen license"! Were wanting to try something new and care for our own hens, and be able to have our own eggs. So I'm now researching how to build a hen house and chicken run! I think ill make it into a video and have some fun learning some new things. Hope you are doing well in Australia! Cheers from Canada
Ha! I ordered it from amazon. I'm pretty sure it came from USA :) and Happy it did! Best one out there, and thanks so much for leaving me your comment Greg! Made me laugh :) Cheers Paul
Hi Marenat that is really fantastic to hear and thank you so much. I am thrilled that you enjoy my work and videos. I am looking to doing more for people just like you! I wish you well. Best regards Paul
What hooks are you using? I'm interested in the Omniwall but don't want to be locked into only being able to use their accessories since they're pretty pricey. Looks great, though!
Hey @tylerdrabek1592 I'm using the "Presa Metal Peg Board Shelving Hooks, 2-inch, 50-Pack" Here is a link if you want to check them out. They are well made and I haven't had any issues with them yet. amzn.to/3rSMa9B Thanks a lot! and thanks for stopping in! Cheers
I was really surprised how much cutting power (and torque) this saw had out of the box. I've used other (10" saws) previously and was pretty surprised with the speed and cutting ability of this Dewalt saw.I have bolted mine to a table to minimize movement which I highly recommend. This is a Great saw th-cam.com/users/postUgkxPeGkHOMe05FySypTOvYumxMn-xi39oRe with a light to see your cutting line (not a laser line).I'd recommend this saw fro anyone looking to upgrade from a 10" miter saw.
Hey Josh thanks and the Shelving is from Homedepot, the Vertical rails are "Rubbermaid FastTrack 48-Inch Peel Resistant Metal Twin Track Closet Shelf Upright in Black for Wire Shelving. The Brackets are "Rubbermaid 14.5 Inch Peel Resistant Metal Twin Track Closet Shelf Bracket in Black for Wood/Wire Shelving. I cut down 4 X 8 Sheets of Birch Plywood for the Shelves with 1.5 Inch strips brad nailed to the face to make them look thicker.
Hi there, I purchased them from our local steel fabrication / welding shop here in Campbell River (Lenz Welding). I measured the width of those Douglas Fur beams, then subtracted 1/4 inch for each side. I then gave the dimensions to the welding company and they cut them to size. The metal plate is 1/4 inch thick. They are very sturdy and do not move. They make for a great connection, plus, as a bonus, I think they look pretty nice. Thanks for noticing them and thank you for your question Dr.Pratt! Cheers, Paul
Hi there, if its metal, Its so I can draw lines with a black marker onto the tape, showing me where I need to cut, sometime same with the wood, if I don't want to mark the wood with a pen, ill mark the tape, them remove later. Also, to keep tear out to a minimum if cutting wood. Nice that you noticed bud! Cheers
Hi Rico. You know, that's a good question! I thought about that before I ground them. I'm not an expert for sure, but thought it would be ok for my purposes. I've had a lot of weight on that first shelf and its never sagged if that helps. Thanks for stopping in!
Hi LA Endurance Dad I used "Presa Metal Peg Board Shelving Hooks, 2-inch, 50-Pack" from Amazon. They are really beefy and hold a lot of weight. They are larger in diameter than cheaper versions, because of this, they don't move around near as much. Thanks for stopping in!
Hm? … Well, now you have a place to put all of your 🛠️ tools in an organized fashion! … But why did you install “the black panels” before placing “a countertop” on your workbench? 🤔
Ha! Well that's a really good question Robert and I wish you were around for some advise before I did that lol. I make all kinds of mistakes, just trying not to repeat to many 😂 Thanks for stopping in.
WoW, great job. I wish I had the room for all that storage and work space. I am green with envy.

1:10 I admire you took the time to remove everything. I would have either done it with the grinder or pull one at a time 😇🍻
Hey Alan thanks for stopping in. The grinder would have saved me time, I didn't think to that! Cheers
OMG! An Imperial tape? I didn't know you could get those in Canada! LOL! Awesome editing, Paul. 🙂

Thanks for stopping in @teresanietoaraujo2770 and your right, its really nice to have all that light close to where I'm working!
Looks good 👍🏻 what shelving system is that?

Where did you get those black connection plates for your miter saw table base?
Hi there, I purchased them from our local steel fabrication / welding shop here in Campbell River (Lenz Welding). Hi. Why do you sometimes use blue tape when you cut metal (or wood)?
Hi there, if its metal, Its so I can draw lines with a black marker onto the tape, showing me where I need to cut, sometime same with the wood, if I don't want to mark the wood with a pen, ill mark the tape, them remove later. Great job. Where are you located on the island?
Hi @rogerlangevin405 Thanks so much! I must have missed your comment sorry, Were in Campbell River.
When you grind down the bottom of the shelf arms, does that reduce the load capacity?
Hi Rico. You know, that's a good question! I thought about that before I ground them. I'm not an expert for sure, but thought it would be ok for my purposes. I've had a lot of weight on that first shelf and its never sagged if that helps. Thanks for stopping in!
What pegs did you use that didn’t move around in a metal peg board ?
Hi LA Endurance Dad I used "Presa Metal Peg Board Shelving Hooks, 2-inch, 50-Pack" from Amazon. They are really beefy and hold a lot of weight. They are larger in diameter than cheaper versions, because of this, they don't move around near as much. Thanks for stopping in!
Way to use your head when fixing that mistake! haha
Ha! and I make a lot of mistakes @TheRealFastMarcus! Thanks bro! Cheers
